About This Pub

Ah, Hawker Bar at Luton Airport – it's one of those places that really hits the mark for a quick stopover, isn't it? From what I've gathered from folks' chats online, the staff are often cheery and efficient, whipping up tasty treats like chicken wings and cocktails that leave you with a smile, especially when you're knackered from early morning flights. The setup is quite inviting too, with comfy seating and an outdoor terrace that makes you forget you're in an airport for a moment. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses; the prices are a bit eye-watering, as you'd expect in such a spot, and there are times when service slips, like a waiter seeming a bit distracted or a breakfast turning into a right faff with long waits and mistakes. Still, with an overall solid rating, it's worth popping in if you're after a relaxed pit stop, just keep your expectations in check for that airport premium and maybe skip the full English if you're in a rush.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The service is generally spot-on – quick and friendly, which is a real treat when you're rushing through an airport.
  • The food and drinks are tasty; think delicious chicken wings and cocktails that come with a smile, making your wait for a flight much more enjoyable.
  • It's got a lovely atmosphere with comfortable chairs, sofas, and even an outside terrace, perfect for a relaxing spot before boarding.
  • The decor and music add a nice touch, making it feel welcoming despite the hustle and bustle of the airport.
Cons
  • Prices are on the steep side, as you'd expect in an airport, so it might hit your wallet a bit harder than your local pub.
  • Service can sometimes be a tad inattentive or slow, like when staff seem a bit lost or there's a wait to place an order.
  • There have been a few mishaps with food, such as disappointing breakfast experiences, which could leave you feeling let down.

Very good service and quick the whole airport was busy at 0600 in the morning. Expensive but that’s airport prices

My Husband and I had a wonderful time here while waiting for our flight. The staff were the friendliest we encountered at the airport (please note all staff were friendly, we just had a super experience here!), there was an outside terrace and the chicken wings were very good. I’d like to give special thanks to Loren for making our cocktails and suggest you ask for her personally as the margaritas she made were superb. The salted rims were perfect and the balance of lime was just great. It’s my favourite cocktail. I order one several times a week and can honestly recommend them from here. Thanks Loren!!!

A little pricey but it's an airport so what else to expect. Beautifully decorated, comfortable chairs and sofas, nice music. Everyone was nice. Waiter a bit inattentive and seemed lost, but we are all people who make mistakes. Food was deliscious. Full english (toast not included) and benedict eggs on toast :)

Title: Worst Breakfast Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs! If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I ordered a full English breakfast with toast, and the entire experience was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First, I had to wait 15 minutes just to place my order because the staff seemed completely uninterested in doing their jobs. Then, after finally ordering, I waited another 30 minutes for my food to arrive. When my toast finally came, it went to the wrong table first and was then brought back to me from someone else’s table—which is beyond disgusting. By the time I got it, it was already stone cold. And let’s talk about the staff—particularly the thin, rude, and unprofessional male employee who acted like he couldn’t care less about customer service. When I mentioned that I’d be leaving a review, he literally shrugged and didn’t care at all. No apology, no attempt to fix the situation—just pure attitude. The breakfast itself? Not even worth the wait. By the time it arrived, I had already lost my appetite. Stale toast, lukewarm food, and an overall horrible experience. Avoid this place unless you enjoy wasting your time and being treated like an inconvenience.
