About This Pub
Ah, the Hatton Arms – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a hidden gem in Warrington, tucked away in a historic grade II listed building near the Lewis Carroll spot. I have to say, chatting about it with mates, the thing that stands out most is how they nail the basics: the food is genuinely delicious, with big portions and that homey touch from local ingredients, whether you're going for a classic Sunday roast or something a bit more special. The staff are just brilliant, always making you feel welcome without any fuss, and that beer garden is a proper winner when the weather's on your side – imagine lounging with a cold one in a well-maintained space. On the flip side, it's not without its drawbacks; prices can add up a tad, so it might not be the go-to for a cheeky cheap pint, and those hours can be a bit unpredictable, which is a shame if you're planning a last-minute visit. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for a relaxed meal or a catch-up with friends – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as the good bits far outweigh the niggles, and you'll likely leave with a smile.

Cons
-
It can be a bit on the pricey side, so if you're after a budget-friendly night out, you might want to keep that in mind.

The opening hours aren't always set in stone and might change without notice, which could throw off your plans if you're popping by spontaneously.

Had lunch here for the first time & wasn't disappointed. The service was friendly & polite. The food was hot, tasty & reasonably priced. The garden was large and well maintained with comfy seating. Would definitely recommend.
Went to The Hatton Arms for Mother's Day. The food and service were really fantastic, especially because there was 12 of us! Made to feel very welcome, the service never made us feel rushed and the quality of the food was superb, including some of the biggest Yorkshire puddings we'd ever seen! The dining room was very cosy too and it really was a fantastic location to enjoy a big family meal. Would definitely recommend, and am sure we'll all be back!
Thank you!
Great food and selection of beers. Friendly staff, Sunday Roast Dinners are superb, they are a little pricey but the food quality and quantity is excellent. Great, large beer garden too for visits on warmer days, and the location is ideal being mid-way between Stretton and Walton, with other local pubs just 5 minutes drive in either direction. Overall excellent, a proper traditional pub serving quality food, just slightly over-priced on food in general, but well worth a visit.
Lovely typical British pub. Great atmosphere, roaring fire in Winter. Eat here quite often and always good pub grub. Nice outdoors area when the weather behaves. Great friendly staff, highly recommended.
