About This Pub
Oh, let me tell you about The Partridge – it's one of those places that just hits the spot every time. Tucked away in the peaceful Cheshire countryside, not far from the M56, it's got this inviting vibe that's perfect for everything from a casual lunch with friends to a family celebration or even a business catch-up. The food is seriously impressive; think hearty pies, fresh soups, and generous portions that won't leave you wanting more – and at prices that feel fair, especially when you're tucking into something as tasty as their Sunday roasts or club sandwiches. The staff really make it shine, too; they're so friendly and on point, even when things get busy or you're popping in near closing time, which makes the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Plus, the rooms look comfy for a good night's rest if you're staying over. On the flip side, though, it's a shame there's no clear info on opening hours, so you might end up faffing about to confirm they're open, and if you're not driving, the location could be a bit out of the way. Still, with such glowing feedback from folks who've been there recently, I'd say it's well worth a visit – just pop in and see for yourself; you might just make it your new regular stop.

Fantastic service. Very accommodating when we came in for dinner near closing time. Nothing was a problem. Everyone very smartly dressed and welcoming. The restaurant/bar and toilets are immaculate. Food and drinks were excellent. Now a regular pit stop when traveling
Excellent food!
We stopped in our way from the Peak District to Liverpool and we couldn't have picked a better place to have lunch!
Food was fantastic and the service was great. Prices are really good as portions are really big. We where 4 adults and had 2 pies, one cauliflower cheese and a soup and it was more than enough.
Highly recommend.
Have been coming here for a few years now and have never got round to leaving a review. Have just returned from taking my mum out for mother’s day and as usual, The Partridge didn't disappoint.
It was extremely busy today but the staff were just as brilliant as they always are and the food was delicious. This is such a well-run restaurant with a lovely atmosphere in a very nice location. I’d recommend this place to anybody in a heartbeat. 10/10
Having never previously been to The Partridge, I have now been twice in the past two weeks and have to say what amazing food. The first time had club sandwich and today had fish and chips and neither was disappointing. Great service and really friendly staff on both occasions. Huge portions cooked and presented very well. Think this is my new favourite food place.
We had our family Christmas meal last night, from the second we walked in the door, we were warmly welcomed, and showed to our table. The staff that looked after us were exceptional, polite, friendly and a credit to the business. The manager on duty also warm and welcoming. Food was exceptional, so credit to the chefs. All in all an all round perfect experience and would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you all, and merry Christmas 🎅
