About This Pub
Ah, Harvester Rayleigh Weir – it's one of those places that just feels like a reliable go-to for a laid-back meal with the family or mates. From what I've gathered, the food really shines with those fresh, flavoursome options like the rotisserie chicken and grilled classics, and the unlimited salad bar is a proper treat, always kept neat and full. The atmosphere is spot on for a relaxed vibe, and the staff are absolute gems, making you feel welcome from the get-go with their friendly chats and quick responses. It's conveniently tucked away near some fun spots like the karting stadium, so it's easy to pop in after a day out. On the flip side, it's not all perfect; there have been a few grumbles about food not being piping hot or the odd disappointing visit, which might mean it's hit or miss sometimes. Still, with an overall solid rating and plenty of happy feedback, I'd say it's worth giving it a try for a straightforward, enjoyable night out – just keep expectations realistic and you'll likely have a great time.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Harvester! The food was delicious, with fresh, hearty portions that hit all the right spots. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a family meal. But the real star of the show was our waitress, Eleni! She was incredibly attentive, always checking in with a genuine smile and making sure we had everything we needed. Her energy was infectious, and she went above and beyond to make our visit special, even recommending the best dishes on the menu. Eleni’s exceptional service truly made our day thank you, Harvester, for such a memorable meal!
Sadly, pretty awful. Used to be a fantastic place to eat but unfortunately yesterday's visit fell far short.
Positives : Service friendly, prompt and food was served quickly despite being busy. Salad bar clean and well stocked.
The positives end there.. chicken fries were served cold, replaced. Classic burger served with no sauce, pot given. Chicken was well undercooked, pink, slimy with a piece of snapped off spine hidden underneath. This was discounted from the bill. Good job as this thoroughly put me off eating the rest of the meal. Promptly paid and left.
Seems this area lacks a decent Harvester anymore. Stanway in Colchester will get my vote each and everytime.
Treated my mum to a nice breakfast. Staff and food were lovely. Lovely sausages. Phill was very friendly and a pleasure to have as our waiter. Thank you
We love this harvester. The salad card is always stocked and clean. Meg S is a wonderful young lady who serves and she is pleasant and friendly which makes the visit all the more enjoyable xxxx
We had a lovely Valentine’s Day here. Served by Phill, who we have had the pleasure of meeting a few times.
So friendly and always brings a smile to our faces.
The food was wonderful as always, and service was very fast, dispute being a fairly busy night.
Look forward to the next one x
