About This Pub

Oh, let me tell you about Hampstead Jazz Club – it's one of those places that really warms your heart if you're into live music. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the jazz performances are just incredible; they've got this lineup of talented artists playing everything from tributes to legends like Ella Fitzgerald and Thelonious Monk to fresh album launches, and it's all set in such a welcoming, intimate environment that harks back to the golden days of jazz. The staff sound like absolute stars, always on hand to make sure you're comfortable and even dishing out great food recommendations that hit the spot. But, to keep it real, there have been a few grumbles about seating – like turning up with tickets and not having a table straight away, which could put a bit of a dampener on things at first. Overall, though, with a solid 4.7 rating from folks who've been there, it's well worth a visit if you're in the mood for some quality tunes in a relaxed Hampstead setting. I'd say go along, soak in the atmosphere, and maybe book ahead to avoid any surprises – it's a fantastic spot for a night out with friends.

The music was lovely, but the experience was not great. We bought table tickets and when we arrived there was no free table. Making for quite an awkward start. After a manager came and freed up a table, we sat down realising it has a corner sofa table and it barely had enough room for us three to fit. I think they had oversold the venue. On top of this there was a curtain behind us and quite a bit of noise coming from behind it.

Loved this place! Very intimate and surprising jazz club under a nice old pub in Hampstead. Quite incredible to be able to watch musicians of such calibre play in such an intimate setting. We saw Jo Harrop and Paul Moran - just wow!

Irene Serra & Luca Boscagin performed a Great British Sing Book with amazing interpretation of Irene's own, and a contemporary selection of some other well-known songs. Intimate venue and great atmosphere... recommended and tune in to the HJC performances...
