About This Pub
You know, Hall & Woodhouse Bath is one of those places that really stands out in Bath's bustling scene – it's got this lovely mix of a traditional pub feel with a touch of luxury, making it ideal for everything from a quick coffee to a full-blown Sunday roast with mates. From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the food is generally spot-on, with highlights like those massive Yorkshire puds and a solid selection of drinks, including some fun summer sippers that sound just the ticket for a warm day. The staff come across as genuinely warm and helpful, which always makes a big difference, and that rooftop terrace is a real winner for soaking up the views and unwinding after exploring the city. On the flip side, it's worth noting that not every dish is a home run, and it might feel a smidge on the expensive side if you're just popping in for a casual bite. All in all, it's a solid choice for pub goers looking for a bit of atmosphere and good company, but maybe plan ahead if you want to avoid the crowds.
Pros and Cons

The food is a real highlight – think delicious Sunday roasts, tasty small plates, and even options for kids, plus some cracking deals like kids eating free on weekdays.
-

-
That roof terrace is a gem, offering stunning views over Bath and the perfect spot for a relaxing cocktail or lunch in the sunshine.
-
It's dog-friendly and family-oriented, so it's brilliant for a casual catch-up or a special occasion with loved ones.
Cons
-
Some dishes might not quite hit the mark, like that rigatoni carbonara that didn't live up to expectations for one visitor.
-
It has an upmarket feel, which could make it a bit pricey for everyday outings, even though it's moderately priced overall.
-
Depending on the time, it might get busy with groups like hen parties, which could make it a tad noisy if you're after a quiet pint.

I had a lovely meal here with a group of friends. The food was great and the staff were delightful. I'll definitely be going back and recommending it to others.
We came as a family for Sunday lunch and had incredible starters, wine and roasts. The ambience is lovely, the food and drink delicious and the roof terrace is a lovely addition.
The place looks and feels very upmarket and an ideal place for a birthday meal.
There were several hen parties on the tables around us enjoying the atmosphere.
The food sounds very fancy on the menu, however the rigatoni carbonara didn't live up to my expectations.
The Venue itself is very nicely devoured, the atmosphere is very chilled and ambient, we had 3 small plates as a shared starter for 2 and then the Bacon Chop and the Steak and Tanglefoot Pie from the Mains. Also a good range of drinks to choose from. Amazing... Our waitress for our visit was Ella, she was very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Sunday roast with friends. Nice roast. Good vibes-very chilled and lovely atmosphere and decor. The best Yorkshires, they were huge! Also really lovely well-cooked carrots. Thanks to our server/waitress Charlotte R who was very sweet, smiley and attentive to our needs!
