Grow in Stratford

Oh, Grow in Hackney is one of those places that really sticks with you after a visit – it's got this effortless cool vibe, especially on those Thursday jazz nights where the band's energy just lights up the room. I love how they've made the most of the canal location; it's such a treat to sip on a well-poured drink while watching the water go by, and the food hits the spot too, with fresh flavours and portions that leave you satisfied without breaking the bank. The staff are genuinely lovely, always up for a chat, which makes the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed. But, and I have to be straight here, there are a couple of downsides that might make you think twice – like that security bother that's cropped up in some stories, which isn't ideal and could spoil things if you're not careful.
