About This Pub

Ah, All My Friends – it's one of those places in Hackney Wick that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered, it's all about that easygoing vibe with a record shop and a wicked sound system playing tunes from their favourite selectors, making it ideal for a catch-up with mates or just soaking in the atmosphere. The food lineup is brilliant; think mouthwatering sourdough pizzas, vegan delights, and smoky BBQ that folks rave about – I mean, who could resist a good szechuan short rib? And the drinks? Well, they've nailed it with cocktails, organic wines, and craft beers that pair perfectly. But, let's be honest, it's not without its quirks. Some have had a tough time with bar service, like waiting forever or getting skipped, which is a shame when you're trying to enjoy a gig or a sunny evening on the terrace. It does get rammed, especially outside, and things can feel a bit pricey or limited if you're not into alcohol. Still, with a solid 4.2 rating, it's clear the good outweighs the bad for most, so if you're heading that way, I'd say go early, grab a table, and make some memories – just keep an eye on the queue!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is absolutely buzzing with a cool record shop and a top-notch sound system that makes for some brilliant vibes, perfect for a laidback hangout.
  • They've got a fantastic selection of food, like fresh sourdough pizzas from P.L.U.R., vegan options from Essential Vegan, and tasty Texan BBQ from Uncle Hon's – it's all delicious and hits the spot.
  • The drink menu is spot on with seasonal cocktails, natural wines, and local craft beers; it's a treat for anyone wanting something a bit special.
  • The terrace is a real sun trap, especially in the evenings, making it ideal for catching up with mates on a nice day.
  • Overall, it's got that welcoming Hackney Wick charm, drawing in a friendly crowd for good times and decent deals like the ones mentioned in reviews.
Cons
  • Service can be a bit hit or miss, with some folks waiting ages at the bar and staff not always getting the order right, which puts a dampener on things.
  • It gets packed quickly, particularly the terrace, so you might struggle to find space or end up queuing for a while.
  • Drinks are on the pricey side, which might make you think twice if you're out for a casual pint.
  • Non-alcoholic options are a tad limited, mostly just cans and not much on tap, so it might not suit everyone.
  • On busier nights, the whole place can feel a bit overwhelming, and it's not always the best for a relaxed meal if you're after something more low-key.

Went here for drinks before the Sam fender gig. Despite the whole venue not being overly busy I waited at the bar for 25 mins only for barmen to serve others who started queuing after me and pushing in - and just as i politely asked if id be next, the barman put some yellow gloves on and started washing glasses! Crazy Tables were far too crammed with other people’s backs / shoulders bumping you on other tables All in all - avoid

Had a pre reserved table for a birthday so had enough space. A great sun trap for the evening sunshine. The terrace does get very busy. Bar was busy but the service was quick enough. Decent drink selection although expensive. Didn’t try the pizza but they smelt great so maybe would try one next time.

Had a lovely time catching up with a friend at All My Friends over lunch on Sunday. We ordered food from Uncle Hons BBQ and it was delicious. Highly recommend the szechuan short rib and smacked cucumber salad. Only a couple of non alcoholic beers available by the can (nothing on tap) but the Zed is a tasty hazy N/A IPA. Only down side was how busy it was. Probably to be expected as it was a bank holiday weekend, but the bar was often 3 or 4 people deep, with lots of people ordering time consuming cocktails, making it a long and laborious task to get a drink. We left to go somewhere quieter once the music and dancing picked up.

Friday evening we came with friends to celebrate birthday. Came early so managed to get a bigger table outside, later it got packed with people. Really cool inside area, with a DJ booth. They have beer, wine and pizzas. I wouldnt go there for pizzas or food but if you are looking for a place to have a good time with friends and dance a bit, it’s great.
