About This Pub
Ah, the Griffin Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a second home, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews, Jean's been running the place for half a century, and her hospitality is second to none; she's got that knack for making you feel welcome the moment you step through the door. The atmosphere is spot on for a traditional spot – think crackling open fire, a darts board for a bit of friendly competition, and even a piano that might get the sing-along started. It's reasonably priced too, so you won't break the bank on a few pints. On the flip side, it's purely a drinks venue, so if you're after a meal, you'll have to sort that out elsewhere, and remember to bring cash because cards aren't an option. The drink choices are a bit on the slim side, with only one ale available and no stout in sight, which might disappoint if you're after more variety. All in all, it's a fantastic choice if you're in the mood for that authentic, community feel in Wrexham, but it might not suit everyone looking for something more modern or extensive.

This pub doesn’t do food but the hospitality is second to none - Jean, the landlady, has served he customers for half a century. Highly recommended
I love this quaint little gem of a pub. A traditional pub with great armosphere and the best locals of Gresford and surrounding areas. Jean is the best landlady ever. So warm and welcoming with her hospitality. Thankyou Jean for a much needed service and keeping your pub true to tradition. Xx See you soon Gill (and brother Dave when hes over visiting!)
Lovely local old school village pub. Ran by the same family for 50 years. Open fire, dry board and a piano. Really friendly behind the bar. Reasonably priced. One ale on along with usual but no stout. Recommended 🍻 🎯 🔥 🎹 CASH ONLY 💷
A really great traditional pub. Lovely landlady too! Give it a try. It has a great atmosphere.
