About This Pub

Ah, Framesmith Arms – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Nottingham, you know? From the reviews I've had a look at, it's got this fantastic atmosphere that's all about good times and friendly faces, with beer that's not only cheap but comes in a great selection to suit most tastes. The staff really stand out too; they're super approachable and make you feel like part of the gang straight away. Plus, it's spotlessly clean and they've got entertainment sorted with things like karaoke nights, big sports matches, and even live gigs, which adds a nice buzz when it's on. On the flip side, though, it does seem to be a bit on the quiet side sometimes – not always packed, which could make it feel a tad underwhelming if you're hoping for a lively crowd. A couple of reviewers mentioned it comes across as just your average pub without anything too special, and it's a shame there's no website or clear hours to help you plan ahead. All in all, if you're after a relaxed pint with mates and don't mind a more laid-back vibe, I'd say it's well worth popping in for a go – it's got that honest, community-hearted charm that makes a good night out.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The atmosphere is absolutely spot on – it's warm and inviting, with a real community vibe that makes you feel right at home
  • Beer selection is brilliant and affordable, offering loads of choices without breaking the bank
  • Staff are super friendly and helpful, always up for a chat and making sure everyone has a good time
  • The place is kept spotlessly clean, which is a nice touch for a relaxed pub setting
  • They've got great entertainment options like karaoke, big matches on the screen, and even gigs, adding to the fun
Cons
  • It can feel a bit quiet and not always buzzing, which might disappoint if you're after a lively crowd
  • Some folks find it a tad standard and unremarkable, without anything particularly standout beyond the basics
  • No website or clear operating hours listed, which makes it tricky to plan a visit or check what's on

A standard and rather unremarkable pub situated in the town centre, yet never very busy.. The regulars are friendly enough and the landlord is a nice bloke too.. They have a pool table and darts board, and there are also karaoke discos held every Saturday night..
