About This Pub
Ah, Fidel Rum Bar – what a gem in Bath! I have to say, if you're into rum or just fancy trying something a bit different, this place really delivers with an incredible array of rums and expertly crafted cocktails that folks are raving about. The staff are the real stars here; they're not just serving drinks, they're sharing stories and suggestions that make you feel right at home, turning an ordinary evening into something special. It's got that cosy, intimate feel that's perfect for a low-key night with friends or a date, and with such high ratings, it's clear most people leave with a smile. On the flip side, it's a small venue, so it might get a tad overcrowded, and you could end up standing if it fills up quickly – definitely something to keep in mind if you're not keen on queues. Plus, with limited opening days and no online presence for more info, it's worth checking the times before you head out. All in all, it's a fantastic choice for a relaxed drink, but just be prepared for that intimate setup to either charm you or feel a bit restrictive, depending on the crowd.

Cons
-
The place is on the small side, which means it can get a bit packed and you might struggle to snag a seat, especially on busier evenings.
-
It's only open five days a week with varying hours, so you'll need to plan ahead if you're hoping to pop in on a Sunday.
-
While prices are moderate, some might find them a tad steep for the experience, particularly if you're just after a quick drink.
-
No website means it's trickier to check out the menu or details in advance, which could be a hassle for first-timers.

Stumbled across this place whilst looking around Bath and decided to go for drinks before going the Theatre (popped in again after).
Small and cosy venue with two bar staff that are friendly and knowledgable about the drinks on offer. I have never seen a selection of Rum like it (there is also Gin and Whiskey). We had a great evening and were made to feel very welcome.
This review is a little overdue as we went August 2023. The cocktails and atmosphere in the place are great! Admittedly it’s a little on the small side and you might struggle to always get a seat, but it’s definitely a place to visit if you like rum and cocktails. I don’t quite remember the prices we paid at the time, but they definitely don’t mug you off on the measures, we were pretty smashed after 3 or 4! 😂
Amazing rum bar. Exceptional drinks but the staff really elevated the experience. Great fun, really good atmosphere. Recommend the ONE LOVE cocktail 😀
A fantastic little bar offering Rum mainly but other tipples and cocktails alongside.
As you step inside there’s the feel this place has a certain cosy vibe going on. The perfect hideaway with a close friend, a date or with a small gaggle of friends.
We enjoyed a few drinks upstairs late in the evening. I wish the owner every success.
So good, we went twice in 2 days. Great selection of Rums and cocktails served up by barkeepers who know what they're doing and who provide a great atmosphere.
Definitely recommend.
