About This Pub
Oh, what a gem Farmhouse Kitchen in Worsley is – it's that kind of place where you walk in and immediately feel at ease, tucked away in a quiet village spot just outside Manchester. The staff really stand out; they're so approachable and helpful, always checking in to make sure you're sorted, which makes the whole visit feel personal and warm. The food's a real highlight too – think generous carvery servings and delicious vegetarian choices that hit the spot every time, all at a price that's easy on the wallet. It's perfect for a family day out with all those kid-friendly features like play areas, and the added bonuses like refillable drinks and special offers just add to the fun. But, let's be honest, it does have its downsides; on busier days, you might find yourself in a queue for drinks or waiting a good while for your table or carvery, which can take the edge off the enjoyment if you're in a rush. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a relaxed meal or catch-up with mates – I'd say give it a go, especially if you're after good value and a friendly vibe, just plan ahead for those peak times to keep things smooth.

Cons
-
It can get quite busy, leading to queues for drinks, ordering food, and even waiting for the carvery, which might put a dampener on things.
-
Sometimes the wait times for seating or your meal can feel a bit long, especially if you're popping in for a quick bite.
-
While it's generally well-run, a few tweaks could make the flow smoother, as it's not always the most efficient experience.

Had a lovely meal there yesterday was gorgeous carvery is my Favourite place at the minute. My son had a bad accident fell outside on the park and they was amazing they got him a blanket and rang us an ambulance they stopped service. The manager even gave us cake to take A n E for the kids because we cut our meal short. I am so so greatful how they dealt with the situation & can't thank you enough. The staff are so friendly and attentive. I will always be a repeat customer. The lady Manger is extremely kind and was a great help. The customer that stayed with my son and helped get him in recovery position and lay on the floor with him I will never be able to tell you how greatful I am to you for helping my son. He's doing well and hes OK so again a big big thank you and sorry for all the chaos his accident caused. My favourite restaurant we will be back soon.
The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dawn in particular goes around to customers, ensuring they have everything they need and has a nice conversation with each customer, making them feel very welcome.
Lovely place, plenty of space, clean. Just needs tweaking imo, Too much queuing, for drinks,to order food, then having to wait to be called up for carvery, we waited almost 30 minutes, then queued for that too of course. Apart from that, we all enjoyed our food
Nice, fresh, clean. Very spacious. Good food. Loved the refillable drinks. Good service especially the lady who showed us to our table. Mike was lovely too. Very accommodating. Food came quick and hot. Will definitely be back.
Had great service from the staff here. We had to wait a little to be seated but staff were very pleasant and informative. It was quite busy when we arrived. We got standard vegetarian carveries and there was plenty of food we couldn’t finish it and the cheese and onion pie was delicious. The coffee were a little burnt but you get refills and the second coffee was much better. Parsnips were also amazing and would highly recommend for a decent feed at a reasonable price. It is very family friendly which meant it was a bit noisy but good to bring the family if you have one. Restaurant was pretty clean however one of the tea spoon holders could have done with a deep clean. Overall 5 star experience for a good hearty meal, friendly and great staff and a decent price.
