About This Pub
Ah, Maltdog Boothstown – it's one of those spots that just hits the mark for a proper night out in Manchester. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place shines with its brilliant drink selection; whether you're after a local ale, a cheeky cocktail, or even something low-alcohol, they've got you covered without skimping on quality. The live music is an absolute treat, really putting the spotlight on local talent and creating that lively yet cosy feel that makes evenings memorable. And let's not forget the staff – they're fab, always on hand with a friendly chat and attentive service that makes you feel right at home, plus the food is delicious and adds a nice touch to the experience. On the flip side, it does kick off a bit late in the afternoon, so if you're keen for an early session, you might find yourself waiting around. Oh, and without an official website, it's a smidge inconvenient to get the lowdown online, and those wonky operating hours could catch you out if you're not careful. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed pint or a bite, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go in with realistic expectations and you'll have a cracking time.

Cons
-

No website listed, which makes it a tad tricky to check the latest updates or menus before heading over.
-
Some inconsistency in the operating hours shown, like varying closing times on Sundays, so it's worth double-checking to avoid disappointment.
