About This Pub
Ah, Fairfield Tavern – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a second home, you know? Tucked away in Wrexham, it's got that classic, no-nonsense charm where you can pop in for a quick drink or settle in for the evening. The team behind the bar are absolute gems, always ready with a smile and speedy service, and the locals add to the fun with their friendly banter. Whether you're there to catch the latest match on Sky Sports or have a go at the pool table and darts, there's plenty to keep you entertained. They've nailed the drinks selection too, with a solid lineup of beers and options for those skipping the booze. But, let's be fair, it's not perfect – you might raise an eyebrow at some prices, like for kids' drinks, and if you're not into the traditional pub scene, it could feel a tad old-school. Still, overall, it's a top choice for a relaxed night out, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area for some good times and maybe even a bit of friendly competition.
Pros and Cons

-
Loads of fun extras like a pool table, dart board, and jukebox keep things entertaining, whether you're up for a game or just relaxing.
-
The old-school pub vibe is charming, with plenty of familiar faces and a real community feel that makes it a go-to local haunt.
Cons
-
Prices can feel a bit steep for some drinks, like soft options for the little ones, which might catch you off guard if you're not expecting it.
-
It's very much a traditional locals' pub, so if you're after something more modern or fancy, it might not quite hit the mark.

The nicest bunch you could hope to watch the rugby with, thanks for having us.
The lads in kilts
Fairfield tavern is an amazing local pub a great range of beers, alcohol and none alcoholic drinks, service was brilliant and speedy
Pool table, dart board and jukebox all available with sky sports too
American perspective: Locals pub for sure, people were friendly and the bartender was cute. Wandered in here after a wrexham game while waiting for a cab and everyone was nice to us. Would enjoy a pint again
The service was fine the food and drink fine however we had to pay £2.90 for two glasses of orange squash for the kids. When I mentioned it I was told it’s cheap if you have it in beer like lager but more expensive when you have it in its own. We come here at least once a months and spend well over £100 - probably £150 - this will stop and we’ll go somewhere more reasonable for kids
This is a proper old school locals pub, not your trendy wine bar, town centre type of nonsense, and I love it. Lots of friendly characters in here who are regulars, the pool table is in regular use and there's a jukebox too. Decent ales and we saw the landlady dealing firmly with two lads who'd been having a little toot in the toilets.
