About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The Bowling Green Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Wrexham. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place really shines with its friendly staff who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, and the food and drinks are spot on without costing a fortune. I love how they've got all the classics sorted, like a nice pint of Guinness or watching the footie on their HD screens, and the beer garden's a bonus for those sunny evenings. It's got that authentic traditional feel, which is brilliant if you're after a cosy chat and maybe a game of darts, but it might not wow you if you're in the mood for something a bit more contemporary. Overall, it's a solid spot for a laid-back evening; just pop in for a drink and you'll see why folks keep coming back – though do check the hours first, as things can vary. Honestly, it's one of those places that strikes a nice balance, making it a go-to for anyone wanting a good time without the fuss.

Great pub, it does lovely food and drink, staff are friendly.
Lovely traditional pub. Great darts board. Live racing. Bookies opposite. Nice pint of Guinness. Good chips.
Dawn runs a marvellous, traditional Welsh pub. In 1643 Oliver Cromwell set his cannons up on the site of what would become the future pub's namesake bowling greens, then he shelled the Parish church before burning a lot of the town.
One thing that's never burnt however are the dinners that fly out of Bowling Greens kitchen. Superb, hearty, honest scran. Fine selection of beers, wines & spirits, great dart board + teams, too. All welcome in this midweek drinkers experience.
Popped into this pub for the first time in a very long time with a small group for a quiet evening drink (or two) after a meeting.
The atmosphere was very friendly, the beer choice was good, and the price was excellent.
Traditional pub serving good food at a reasonable price.
