About This Pub
Ah, The Parish – it's one of those spots in Wrexham that just feels like a hidden gem when you're out for a pint with mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, they've got this brilliant lineup of beers that cater to all tastes, and little touches like Super Bock add a fun twist. The staff are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and making everyone feel right at ease, and I love how the owner pitches in to keep things personal. Live music nights with local bands are the real highlight, turning it into a lively hub that's perfect for a Friday evening kick-back. Prices are spot on too, so you can have a proper sesh without it costing the earth. On the flip side, their website's playing up at the moment, which means you might struggle to check menus or events online, and the opening times can be a bit of a muddle – it's open most days, but things like that Sunday schedule look a touch erratic, so plan ahead to save any hassle. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out, with plenty of positives that outweigh the niggles, but it's always good to go in with your eyes open for a balanced experience.

-
Super friendly staff and a welcoming owner who go out of their way to make you feel at home.
-
Regular live music from local bands, creating an exciting and vibrant atmosphere.
-
Reasonable prices for drinks, so you can enjoy a few without worrying about the wallet.
-
A cosy micro pub garden that's perfect for a relaxed pint outdoors when the weather's on your side.
Cons
-
The website's a bit unreliable right now, making it tricky to get the latest info before you pop in.
-
Opening hours can seem a tad unpredictable from what I've seen, so it's worth checking in advance to avoid disappointment.
-
As a smaller venue, it might get quite packed during live events, which could feel a bit overwhelming on busier nights.

Here early evening for a few beers. Good selection of beers. Friendly staff. A micro, pub garden. It appears that bands play here regularly. My sort of pub and maybe yours ? Of note - they have the Portuguese beer: Super Bock here - for personal reasons connected with fueling ships in the Azores and rushing out for a few pints late at night, it makes me feel very nostalgic.
Had an amazing time at this pub , great vibes and great staff
Perfect bar for the Friday evening. Live music from local bands is so exciting.
Had to delete my previous post just to say that I’ve just met Kev the owner, He wasn’t arrogant or up his own arse like some owners and, after a short chat, he even paid for my Texan barbecue Pringles! Thoroughly nice bloke who, like the rest of his staff, made me feel so welcome so I do think that I will now make this place my new drinking hole! Five stars (and they thoroughly deserve it! ) I’d give them six or seven if I could! Lee.
First time for a night out in Wrexham and I went to the Parish to watch The Sherlocks. It was a good fairly small venue. The sound was excellent and the staff were friendly. As expected the band did a great set. Beer prices seemed reasonable too.
