About This Pub
Ah, Einstein Bier Haus – it's one of those places that really captures the spirit of a traditional beer hall, right in the middle of Liverpool's vibrant Concert Square. I have to say, the beers are an absolute treat; they've got this fantastic range of German brews that make you feel like you're on a mini holiday, and pairing them with live sports on the telly is just brilliant for a casual get-together. The food's another highlight – those hearty dishes with massive portions, like the garlic fries, are dead tasty and offer great value, especially during happy hour when the deals really sweeten the pot. It's open all week and stays late, so it's flexible for whatever you're in the mood for. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses; the prices can sting a bit, with pints hitting £7.30, which might make you think twice before ordering another round. And that business with the doors staying open no matter the weather? It left me proper chilly on my visit, even when I mentioned it. The staff are hit and miss too – some are right friendly and make you feel welcome, while others are a tad distant. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're after good beer and a bit of atmosphere, but I'd suggest budgeting wisely and maybe wrapping up warm to get the best out of it.

Cons
-
Pints are on the steep side at £7.30, which can make it feel a bit pricey for what you're getting.
-
They keep the front doors open regardless of the weather, so it can get absolutely freezing inside, even if you ask nicely.
-
Staff can be a mixed bag – some are lovely and chatty, while others seem a bit offhand or not as engaging.
-
No Belgian beers on offer, which might disappoint if you're after more variety beyond the German options.
-
It can be surprisingly quiet on certain evenings, like a Friday, so the buzz isn't always there.

£7.30 for a pint which is obscene and they keep the front doors open no matter what the weather, even if you ask to close it because you’re dying of pneumonia but don’t wanna leave cos your pint was so expensive. Cheaper and warmer to have a bevvy in the North Pole.
Review for Einstein’s Bar
If you’re a fan of great German beer and live football, Einstein’s is the place to be. They offer an impressive selection of authentic German brews, from crisp pilsners to rich, malty bocks—perfect for sipping while catching a match. With plenty of TVs strategically placed around the bar, you won’t miss a second of the action, no matter where you’re sitting. The atmosphere is lively, especially on game days, making it a top spot for both casual drinkers and die-hard football fans. Whether you’re there for the beer, the football, or both, Einstein’s delivers. Highly recommended!
Hardly any customers here when i popped in on a Friday evening.
No Belgium beer, but I did have a couple of German lagers. One of the bartenders were sociable, the other one wasn't.
Plenty of sports on the tv allowing me to watch the snooker.
We travel down from Scotland to Liverpool a few times year and we ALWAYS stop here !! The food is so incredible and priced really well for the area, definitely would recommend their garlic fries (never had something so delicious and huge portion for £3.50!). They have amazing happy hour deals 3-8pm midweek and their cocktails are ALWAYS so strong but so delicious. Staff are super lovely and it’s nice to be remembered !! Free pool on a Friday which was a nice touch, and SO many sports screens for the footie / golf / fighting. YOU NEED TO GO HERE
Having been to many Munich beer halls and gardens before I have always really enjoyed German beer and food so was looking forward to visiting here. The place is huge and I'd imagine it would be packed full of an evening being located in Concert Square. We went in at lunchtime and had a pint of Erdinger. Thought I'd try out the food so ordered a Chicken Ciabatta and fries. It was well presented and a reasonable price. Service was quick.
