About This Pub
Ah, the Earl of Cornwall – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a reliable old mate in Slough, tucked away conveniently near Windsor and LEGOLAND for a bit of post-adventure downtime. From what I've gathered, the food really steals the show; folks rave about the mouth-watering burgers and steaks that hit the spot without breaking the bank, and it's all served up by staff who are genuinely warm and attentive, making every visit feel personal. It's family-oriented too, with a clean interior and fun extras like a pool table, plus they show live sports, which is perfect if you're into cheering on the team with a pint in hand. On the flip side, it might not be the liveliest spot – some say it has a quiet, almost dive-bar feel, especially during off-peak hours, and the pudding choices are a bit sparse, so you could end up skipping dessert. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back evening where good value and a homely atmosphere shine through, but if you're after something more energetic, you might want to keep looking.
Pros and Cons
Pros

-
Staff are absolutely brilliant; they're friendly, down-to-earth, and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's a cosy, clean spot that's family-friendly, with things like a pool table for the kids and plenty of space to relax.
-
They've got live sports on the telly, exciting deals throughout the week, and amenities like free WiFi and a car park, making it easy for a quick stop or a full evening out.
-
Being near Windsor Castle and LEGOLAND, it's conveniently placed for a pint after some sightseeing.
Cons
-
It can feel a bit quiet or have that old-school dive bar vibe at times, especially if you're after a more buzzing atmosphere.
-
The dessert options are a tad limited, so if you're someone who loves a good pud, you might find yourself wanting more variety.
-
Serving hours wrap up fairly early in the evening, which could be a downside if you're planning a late-night gathering.

Top quality food and drink Ryan was a great host we had the gammon and hunters chicken and both meals were fabulous. If your looking for cheaper top quality pub food i would not hesitate to come here before getting on a flight out of Heathrow as that’s what we’re doing later
The food was very good value. Quiet and cozy environment. Just needs a couple more pudding options. Bar staff extremely brilliant, down to earth
Amazing food, friendly staff,, good value for money and very clean. Haven't been here for long time and was pleasantly surprised at how much this place has improved. Will definitely return
First time here with family. Really clean and fresh inside. Food was impressive actually and kids played pool. Overall a good experience
Had some time to kill on a Friday afternoon and came across this spot in Cippenham. Definitely had dive bar vibes—pretty empty except for a couple of merry regulars.
Great tunes playing and a decent pint of Guinness Zero to go with it.
