About This Pub

Ah, Dicey Reilly's – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a proper, down-to-earth evening. From the reviews, you can tell the folks running the place really put their heart into it; they're super attentive and go the extra mile to make sure everyone feels welcome, whether you're a regular or just passing through. The happy hour is a winner for grabbing a pint or two without spending a fortune, and while they might not have a massive food selection, what they do offer sounds spot on – think hearty snacks and homemade treats like Irish stew that leave you smiling. The atmosphere is lively, especially with events on, and it's got that community spirit that makes it feel like a home away from home. On the downside, it's not the spot for a full-blown dinner, as the menu's a bit sparse, and without a website, you might end up winging it on the details. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for a good laugh and some quality time with friends – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, but keep in mind it shines brightest for drinks and vibes over a big feed.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in
  • A cracking atmosphere with events that add an extra bit of fun and make every visit memorable
  • Happy hour deals from Monday to Friday are brilliant for grabbing affordable drinks without breaking the bank
  • They offer some tasty snacks and even special dishes like Irish stew or jerk chicken, showing they care about their visitors
  • It's a family-friendly spot with a great community feel, perfect for locals or anyone popping in for a casual get-together
Cons
  • The food options are quite limited, more focused on snacks than a full menu, so it might not satisfy if you're after a proper meal
  • No website or online presence makes it tricky to check details like the exact schedule or what's on offer before heading over
  • The operating hours listed seem a tad inconsistent, which could lead to a bit of confusion when planning a visit

A warm and wonderful welcome that got us returning everyday. Happy hour mon-fri 2-5. They have got snacks, not a full menu but the land lady made us Irish stew and jerk chicken. Can't do enough for the customers. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Anyone working away needs or even on holiday needs to visit this place.
