About This Pub
You know, when you step into The Coach & Horses, it's like walking into your favourite local straight away – the staff are so friendly and make you feel part of the gang right off the bat. It's got this fantastic buzz, especially if you're into Tottenham Spurs; the memorabilia and pre-game atmosphere are just brilliant for getting into the spirit. I love how they've got a great outdoor area with shaded spots, ideal for chatting over a pint on a nice evening, and the prices are fair enough that you don't have to think twice about ordering another round. On the flip side, though, it's pretty much a Spurs haven, so if football isn't your thing, it might come across as a bit one-track. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to plan a visit in advance, and on big match days, access is limited to fans only, which could leave you out in the cold. All in all, it's a solid spot for a relaxed catch-up, but it's best suited to those who share the football passion – gives it that authentic, community feel without trying too hard.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff and locals are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
-
It's got a brilliant atmosphere, especially for Tottenham Spurs fans, with loads of memorabilia that really gets the excitement going.
-
The outdoor area is a real treat, offering plenty of shaded spots for a relaxing pint on a sunny day.
-
Prices are spot on for a good value night out – nothing too pricey, so you can enjoy a few rounds without worrying.
-
The facilities are kept lovely and clean, which always makes a difference when you're settling in for the evening.
Cons
-
It can feel quite focused on football, so if you're not a Spurs supporter, it might not be the most inclusive spot.
-
There's no website or online presence, which makes it a bit tricky to check opening times or what's on offer before heading over.
-
On match days, it's mainly for Spurs fans, so you might miss out if you're not part of that crowd or if it's packed out.
