About This Pub

Ah, the Dewdrop Inn – it's one of those hidden gems that just warms your cockles from the get-go. From what I've gathered from chats with regulars, the ales are spot on, with a fantastic range that keeps things interesting without overwhelming you. Pair that with the super-friendly staff who make you feel like part of the furniture, and you've got a proper welcoming spot for sinking into a good conversation. The cobs are a standout too – hearty and delicious, just what you fancy with a beer. That back garden is a nice bonus on a sunny day, and being right by the station means it's ideal if you're nipping in for a quick one before catching a train. On the flip side, the decor hasn't had a facelift in ages, giving it that old-school charm but it could feel a tad dated to some. And without a website, it's a bit of a faff to get the lowdown beforehand. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone after an authentic pub experience – the good far outweighs the minor niggles, and I'd say it's well worth a visit for a pint and a chat.

Great pub. Excellent choice of Ales. The cobs are especially good. Staff are friendly, the atmosphere is also friendly. Nice little back garden. Excellent as a pit stop when using the train station.

Great old school boozer that I used to frequent regularly years ago when a friend lived in the area... Popped in after a walk around Bennerley viaduct to find the place still has its charm! Had a lovely couple of pints of ale at an affordable price before catching a train from the conveniently located train station! Excellent boozer!

This has always been a gem of a place. Since the unmentionable in n 2020 it's undergone a makeover but remains welcoming with great beers worthy of it's reputation. Roaring woodburner, cheese slab cobs, free range eggs, what's not to like? We can't help but keep coming back again & again 🍺🍻💕

Great selection of beers, good service, and what every pub should serve, proper cobs.

Fast efficient service of a great choice of cask ale with the 4:00 pm rush at opening time. A CAMRA heritage pub with its 1960’s decor - I suppose a digital train time table would look out of place in here - the station is less than 5 minutes away if you are travelling North bound with no footbridges to cross.
