About This Pub
Ah, Dewdrop in Summertown – it's one of those pubs that just warms your cockles from the get-go. From what I've gathered chatting about it, folks rave about the food; whether it's a stellar roast dinner that's generous and tasty, or that smoked bacon and brisket burger that's apparently life-changing, it's clear they know their way around a kitchen. The drinks menu is spot on too, with a solid range of ales and options for exploring something new, and the staff? They're the friendly sort who make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. That hidden garden out back is a proper treat on a sunny day, especially if they're streaming something fun like tennis. On the flip side, it doesn't kick off until noon, so it's not ideal if you're an early riser, and with prices on the moderate side, it might not be the cheapest spot for a quick pint. Still, with such high praise from so many, it's worth popping in for a laid-back afternoon or evening – just keep in mind it can get a bit buzzing, so plan ahead if you fancy a table. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good time in Oxford, balancing that classic British pub feel with a bit of extra charm.

-
It's a beautifully restored 19th-century inn in a leafy part of Oxford, offering that authentic, homely charm that's hard to beat.
Cons
-
It opens at midday, so if you're after a spot for breakfast or a morning coffee, you'll have to look elsewhere.
-
With moderate pricing, it might feel a tad on the pricey side for everyday visits, especially if you're watching your wallet.
-
Being a popular spot, it can get quite busy, which might mean waits for tables or a more lively vibe than some might prefer on a quiet evening.

If you are looking for a fine roast dinner, you can't go wrong here. A wonderful plate of food. You do get so much for your money, and the food is damn good. Great and friendly service as well. Never had a bad meal or pint here. Great pub.
The smoked Bacon and Brisket Burger was far the best Burger I’ve ever had. I think I cried a little bit of joy. The crew was also unbelievable friendly. I would give the Dew Drop Inn 6 stars if possible.

Very nice local pub with an amazing hidden garden at the back. Lovely place to spend sunny days, especially when they stream tennis
I’ve been using this pub for over 20 years and it just keeps getting better. The staff are friendly, quick and polite. Good real ale selection and the Timothy Taylor’s is normally excellent. I’d give it 6 stars if possible.
