About This Pub
Ah, the Devonshire Arms in Kensington – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a hidden gem in the heart of London. From the reviews I've seen, folks are raving about the food; those scotch eggs sound like an absolute winner, and the roasts are generous portions that could easily satisfy a group. Pair that with the staff's top-notch service – think helpful chats about the drinks menu and a real community spirit – and you've got a spot that's perfect for a lazy Sunday lunch or a midweek wind-down. It's got that classic British pub charm, all cosy and elegant without being too stuffy. On the flip side, it's not all perfect; one person mentioned the fish and chips weren't quite their thing, so it might depend on what you're in the mood for. And honestly, shelling out £5 for a bottle of still water feels a tad cheeky when you're already paying for a meal. Still, with an overall rating pushing 4.4, it's clear this place gets more right than wrong. If you're out and about in the area, I'd say give it a go – it's a solid choice for good grub and a chat, just keep an eye on those extras to avoid any surprises.

I loved the scotch eggs there. But fish and chips was not for me. People working there were kind and friendly.

You have an outstanding Pub that surpassed all expectations with its exquisite cuisine, inviting atmosphere, and top-notch service. It is a true destination that deserves to be celebrated and cherished by the neighborhood it serves as well as food enthusiasts and pub-goers alike. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to savor more of the exceptional fare and hospitality that this remarkable establishment has to offer.
Went here with a friend for a delicious couple of pints of Guinness and a to die for scotch egg. (I’m a sucker). Was served with a smile by a Teodora who had incredible knowledge of all the pints on tap. Lovely atmosphere and great staff, one large ginger fella caught both of our eyes. I don’t normally do this but is he single? x
Food is great. We ordered roasts to share. Portion is big. Fish and chips is good too.
But still water is quite expensive, which costs £5.
We were searching for a spot with food for every person. Lets say we have quite some ‘difficult eaters’ in the family. This place was around 10 minutes walking from our hotel and we didn’t really had the highest expectations.
Social media page didn’t look too appealing tbh, but the website did the trick for us. We managed to eat starter, main and dessert because the food was that delish!
I really enjoyed the ambiance and kindness of the staff. But the dishes were surprisingly in such good condition, like, I would eat here happily every day.
Thanks again guys!
