About This Pub
Ah, Deans Walk Inn, what a gem in Gloucester! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really knows how to make you feel welcome. The staff are absolute stars, always going the extra mile to ensure you're looked after, whether you're popping in for a quick pint or settling in for a full Sunday roast. Speaking of which, the food gets rave reviews – think hearty portions of roast lamb that's bang on the money for just £12, making it a brilliant option if you're after good value without skimping on quality. The atmosphere is another highlight; it's buzzing with energy, especially during events like rugby games or live bands, and that outdoor area is just the ticket for a bit of fresh air with your drink in hand. They've got a decent range of beers too, so you're spoilt for choice there. On the flip side, the operating hours look a tad confusing with all those overlapping Sunday slots, which might leave you scratching your head when planning ahead. Plus, without a website, it's not the easiest to get the lowdown online, and while most folks are over the moon, a few think it's just alright rather than exceptional. All in all, it's a reliable spot for a relaxed evening or a meal with mates – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as the positives far outweigh the niggles!
Pros and Cons

The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
It's got a brilliant atmosphere, especially if you're catching a Gloucester rugby game or enjoying live music – perfect for a lively night out.
-
The food is spot on, particularly the Sunday lunch with generous portions and great value at just £12 a head; you won't leave hungry.
-
They offer a good selection of beers and a lovely outdoor space, ideal for a relaxed chat on a sunny day.
-
Overall, it's a welcoming spot with excellent service that keeps people coming back for more.
Cons
-
The operating hours seem a bit muddled from what I've seen, with multiple listings for Sundays, which might confuse folks trying to plan a visit.
-
There's no website listed, so it's tricky to check menus or events online before heading over.
-
While most experiences are top-notch, a couple of reviews suggest it's just 'decent' rather than outstanding, so it might not wow everyone straight away.

Jay was very accommodating and very good atmosphere would definitely recommend!
Went in before a Gloucester rugby game. Full of fans, great atmosphere 👌
A decent pub with good range of beers and a nice outdoor space with various traditional pub signs.
Had Sunday lunch here, food was outstanding and good sized portions. Had roast lamb. Service was excellent too. Great value for money (£12 each), so if you're looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch I would definitely recommend the food, can't fault it.
Watched a live band there on Friday evening, had a goodtime and a few beers, friendly staff and good service.
