About This Pub
Oh, Cunningham's in Barrow-in-Furness is just that sort of place that brings a smile to your face the moment you step inside – it's got this unspoilt, old-school charm that makes you feel like you've wandered into a proper local haunt. From what I've gathered from folks' experiences, the atmosphere is spot on for a good chinwag or watching the footie with a crowd that's friendly and not at all pretentious. The service stands out too; they're on the ball even when things get busy, which is always a plus when you're settling in for an afternoon. And let's not forget, the prices are fair, so you won't break the bank for a decent pint in a tidy, well-maintained setting. On the flip side, it does fall a bit short on the drinks front – if you're a beer enthusiast, you might find the options a touch limited, with just the one ale making an appearance in some cases, which is a shame for such a lovely spot. Still, overall, it's a solid choice for a casual get-together, and I'd say it's worth popping in if you're in the area, just keep an eye on those opening times to make sure it's open when you fancy a stop.

Brilliant for watching sports like football; plenty of screens and a lively crowd that adds to the fun without being overwhelming.
Cons
-
The beer selection can feel a tad limited at times, with only one or two real ales on offer, which might disappoint if you're after more variety.
-
Operating hours seem a bit inconsistent from what's listed, so it's worth double-checking to avoid any surprises when you're planning a visit.

Today, we came into this virtually unspoilt pub in Barrow
This pub is an interior gem that has a great unspoilt bar
This pub has a great landlord and proper working class locals
If this pub would have had more than just
The 1 Dalton brewed Dalton Ale on from Townhouse brewery it would have hot the full 5 stars today
Great venue, we spent an entire afternoon watching football here, good service even when it's busy. Plenty of screens and generally a good atmosphere. You forget how good it is to be in a good pub with reasonably priced beers , good staff and atmosphere. We'll done cunninghams great afternoon spent inside .
Just a great Victorian era local pub. Clean and tidy . A traditional style serving top end larger and a selection of real ale.
A great choice to avoid tacky town places.

Visited to watch England v Scotland in the 6 Nations. Lively warm and friendly atmosphere with like minded people. A lovely couple of hours
Very welcoming, warm and friendly. It is also very clean and welk maintained. Nice little smoking area also. I usually visit to watch the football but regardless of the reason for visiting its a great public house.
