You've got heaps to do here, whether it's sinking a few darts, challenging friends to pool, or catching the game on the telly, and they throw in quizzes and charity events for good measure. The outdoor spaces, like the garden and decking, are brilliant for a sunny afternoon pint, and it's spot on for hosting everything from quiet drinks to bigger dos in their function room. On the flip side, it's a shame there's no website to easily check the schedule or menu, and the hours starting around 1 PM might not work for everyone. Still, with such high ratings and glowing feedback, it's clear this place does community right – I'd say it's well worth popping in for a relaxed catch-up, as long as you're not in a rush for more digital details.
