About This Pub
So, I had a wander into the Cricketers Arms in Chorley recently, and it's got that lovely old-school pub feel that just draws you in – you know, the kind of place where you can settle in for a chat and a pint without any fuss. The drinks are a real highlight; they've got a cracking selection, including plenty of non-alcoholic choices, and it's all at prices that won't leave you out of pocket. The atmosphere is spot on too, with sports playing on the telly and staff who are genuinely friendly and make you feel welcome straight away. It's clean and cosy, which is always a plus for a quick stop-off. On the flip side, though, a few folks have mentioned that drinks like beer and wine can come out a bit warm, which is a shame and might put a damper on things. Plus, there's no parking to speak of, and it's a small spot, so it could get snug if it's busy, and they don't offer teas or coffees, which feels like a missed opportunity for a proper sit-down. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening out, but it's worth going in with those little quirks in mind to keep expectations balanced.

White wine and beer bottles were warm, wine needed ice in it. Prices were good though.
Great local pub, good choice of drinks alcoholic and non-alcoholic, great atmosphere and sports on TV when needed
Don't sell teas and coffee? No parking. Very small. Apart from that, seemed very lively and had Sky sports .

Call here by chance on a day out walking. A great traditional village pub. The beers choices are fabulous and well maintained. Would highly recommend a visit.
Fabulous little stop off on our 10 mile walk, the drinks and toilet much needed the lady behind the bar friendly 😜 nothing said about muddy boots! Lovely and clean, sanitiser in place too. Thanks for a warm welcome.
