About This Pub
Ah, the Cottage in Earlsdon – it's one of those pubs that just warms your heart from the moment you walk in. I've heard from loads of folks that the staff are the real stars here; they're so attentive and make you feel like you're chatting with old pals, whether it's recommending a brew or sorting out a table for a quiz night. The food's spot on too – those artisan pizzas and fresh beers from Brewpoint are just what you fancy after a long day, and the deals like 2-4-1 on Mondays or lazy lunches midweek add a nice touch without breaking the bank. It's got that perfect neighbourhood feel with a beer garden that's ideal for sunnier days, and being dog-friendly means it's great for a casual outing. On the flip side, it does get heaving at times, so you might end up queuing or missing out on outdoor spots if you don't book ahead, and the prices are a bit on the higher side for everyday sipping. All in all, it's a solid choice for a good night out – the positives far outweigh the niggles, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're after a place with heart and a bit of character.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are absolutely brilliant – folks like Liam and Niamh go out of their way to make you feel welcome, with their friendly chats and spot-on recommendations that really make the visit special.
-
They've got a cracking selection of craft beers and fresh stone-baked pizzas that hit the spot, plus loads of tasty sharing options like loaded nachos and flatbreads to enjoy with mates.
-
It's a proper neighbourhood spot with a lovely beer garden and a relaxed vibe, perfect for catching live sports or popping in for events like pub quizzes and those tempting deals on Mondays.
-
Dog-friendly too, which is a bonus if you're out with your furry friend – they make everyone feel at home.
Cons
-
It can get pretty busy, especially on popular nights or for outdoor seating, so you might need to plan ahead or wait a bit for a table.
-
With moderate prices, it's not the cheapest pint in town, which could add up if you're out for a long session.
-
The menu's focused on pizzas and pub grub, so if you're after something more adventurous, you might find the options a tad limited.

We had a great evening for the pub quiz. We hadn’t made a reservation and the outdoor areas was fully booked. Liam kindly rearranged some tables so we could enjoy our evening outside. Thank you Liam!
Came in for dinner with my friend. Food was fantastic and the staff were amazing. Got served by Liam, he was super friendly and welcoming. And gave us some excellent recommendations ✨
Came in for a few drinks with my partner and something to eat to celebrate our anniversary and Liam who was on shift was amazing! The place as a whole is such a nice vibe and atmosphere as it’s so welcoming but Liam really topped this off for us both
Had a lovely experience here with my partner and dog. Niamh is an amazing bartender and server. Her warm welcome always makes me feel at home and she remembered my name even though it’s been a few months since the last time I came to the cottage. Thank you Niamh for all the love xx
