About This Pub
Ah, The Chestnut Tree – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, tucked away in Coventry, where you can settle in for a relaxed evening with mates. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, whether you're there for a quick drink or a full meal; they're always on hand with a smile and that personal touch that makes all the difference. The drinks menu is spot on too, with a fantastic range of beers, wines, and spirits that cater to all tastes – I can imagine spending hours chatting over a well-poured pint or trying out their gins. And let's not forget the food; their Sunday roasts sound absolutely divine, all homey and flavoursome with options for veggies, plus other treats like finger food that's been praised to high heavens. It's got that cosy atmosphere that's perfect for unwinding, with a bit of entertainment like pool and darts to liven things up. On the flip side, the opening times can be a tad confusing or on the early side, so it might not be the best for those spontaneous late sessions. Plus, their website's a bit of a letdown with access problems, which could make planning a visit a smidge frustrating. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for anyone after a genuine, welcoming pub experience – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, as the positives far outweigh the niggles.

Finest Sunday roast I’ve eaten in a long time - feels like it was made in a home kitchen and great range of veggie options that change every week
Team are always lovely and price is very reasonable! Glad you guys are doing roasts again!
Love this pub - super friendly staff great selection of classic beers and an insane amount of different gin and whiskey, plus the added fun of pool and darts :) and their Sunday roast is to die for ❤️
Nice public house to visit. Amazing selection of beers, wines and spirits, and very pleasant staff too. If you like White Zinfandel wine, the one they have at The Chestnut Tree, called Jack Rabbit, is superb.
