About This Pub
Ah, Cinco Lounge – what a gem in the heart of Grantham! I've got to say, it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a relaxed meal or a cheeky drink. The food is brilliant, with everything from hearty breakfasts to tasty burgers and even special menus for kids and those with dietary needs – it's clear they put real effort into making sure everyone's catered for. Plus, those deals like Tapas Tuesdays are an absolute bargain, making it easy to enjoy without breaking the bank. The staff are lovely, always up for a chat and making you feel right at home in that warm, inviting space. It's got a great location too, overlooking the Isaac Newton statue, and it's super accessible for wheelchairs. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses – some might find the dog-friendly policy a bit much, especially if the pups are near the kitchen area, and there was that one mention of a dessert not quite living up to expectations. Oh, and if you're a fan of real ales, you might be a tad disappointed with the drinks selection. Still, overall, it's a solid spot for a casual get-together, and I'd recommend giving it a go for the good vibes and value it offers.

Cons
-
A few folks have mentioned dogs being allowed inside, which can feel a bit off-putting if they're seated near the kitchen – not everyone's cup of tea.

There might be the odd disappointment with certain dishes, like a dessert that could do with a bit more balance in flavours.
-
It's a shame they don't have real ales on offer, which could leave beer lovers wanting a bit more variety.

I've been coming to this restaurant for a while and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, today was a real shock. As I was getting ready to leave, I noticed that dogs were allowed inside—and not just in the dining area, but seated right near the kitchen entrance.
While I understand that many people enjoy dining with their pets, allowing animals indoors—especially without proper ventilation—is honestly quite off-putting. I'm genuinely concerned about the hygiene, particularly with dogs so close to where food is being prepared.
This experience has really changed how I feel about the place.
Me and my mum both ordered the smash burgers and were hit with a wonderful sensation of flavours. They were absolutely delicious. I then ordered the raspberry chocolate toute and was slightly disappointed. I would make the chocolate less strong and increase the raspberry flavour. That would make it perfect. I then tried a bit of the raspberry lemon drizzle cake, which had wonderful fluffy texture and good flavour, but the flavour aspect of it did need to be increased a smidge.
The staff were really friendly and had such a positive attitude to their work.
Overall, really positive experience. This wasn’t our first time coming and we are definitely coming here again. Always a good place to eat if you’re in the area.
A nice restaurant / cafe on the high street.

A lovely cafe restaurant in the heart of grantham.
Went for breakfast and wasnt disappointed.
Plenty of space. Very lovely Staffs.
The breaksfast food item itself were very nicely cooked and tasted fresh with good quality.
Lovely atmosphere.
Might be my favorite restaurant in the UK hands down. Whenever my fiancé and I visit the area she needs a place that minds her gluten allergy. The cinco lounge has an amazing menu and incredible staff. They always deliver a safe meal and are celiac friendly. Must go!!!
