About This Pub
Oh, what a gem the Church Tavern is for anyone looking for a proper, down-to-earth pub experience in Quarry Bank. From what I've gathered from the buzz around, it's all about that cosy, family-friendly feel where you can pop in for a pint and end up staying for the karaoke or live tunes – it's got something going on most nights, which really livens things up. The drinks are spot on, with a solid range of real ales and more at prices that make you wonder why you'd go anywhere else. Folks rave about how welcoming it is, with staff who make you feel like a regular from day one, and events like their Thursday jam nights sound like a blast for getting involved. On the flip side, it's got that classic 'spit and sawdust' charm, which is brilliant if you love a traditional pub, but it might not wow you if you're after something a bit fancier or more polished. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening with mates, especially when you're in the mood for entertainment without the hassle – just keep an eye on those opening times to make sure you're not caught out.

Absolute gem of a spit and sawdust pub, makes me so proud of my heritage. I love the characters there, the entertainment... They can't do anything more to make you more welcome. Prices are unbelievable.. just had an absolutely fantastic spread laid on for New Year Eve....personally as a photographer the history of the place is spine chilling! Thank you all for keeping this unique place alive which brings us all together 💖💖💖
