Chop Shop Tavern in Walthamstow

You know, I had a lovely time at Chop Shop Tavern the other week, and it's one of those places that just draws you in for longer than you intended. The staff are absolute gems, always up for a chat and making sure everything's just right, which really sets the tone for a great night. The drinks selection is spot on too – think brilliant whiskies, Mezcal, and a solid range of beers and cocktails that won't disappoint, all at prices that feel fair and won't leave you stunned at the end. That outdoor seating is a winner on a nice evening, and inside, it's all about that cosy feel with dim lights and stylish wooden touches that make it feel proper welcoming. On the flip side, being a fairly new place, it might still have a few kinks to sort out, like the odd inconsistency here and there. Plus, with openings only from the afternoon and not every day, it could be a bit limiting if you're after something more flexible. All in all, it's a hidden gem worth checking out if you're in the area – I'd say give it a go for a chilled evening, but maybe plan ahead for those operating hours.
