About This Pub
You know, when I popped into Cask & Glass, it really felt like stepping into a slice of old London – that quaint, historic charm is something special, especially with its prime spot just around the corner from Buckingham Palace. I loved how they focus on quality beers from Shepherd Neame; it's just the ticket for unwinding after a long day exploring the city or nipping in for a bite, like one of those tasty toasties. The outdoor area is brilliant when the weather's on your side, giving you a chance to people-watch and soak up the vibe. On the downside, it does fill up quickly, so you might end up jostling for space, and I've heard a couple of stories about the staff not always being as friendly as you'd hope – that one review was a bit of an eye-opener, making the whole place feel less inviting on occasion. Still, with an overall solid rating, it's worth a go if you're after an authentic pub experience, just maybe pop in during quieter times to get the best of it.

Cons

It can get pretty packed, especially on busy evenings or Thursdays, which might make it tough to find a seat or enjoy a quiet chat.

Being such a small spot, it sometimes feels a bit cramped, particularly during peak hours in this lively part of town.

Nice pub to drink outside in the summer evening. Can get busy on a Thursday but enjoyable nonetheless.
The Cask & Glass was my first experience at a real English pub in London. We were walking to do tourist things and this place was filled with people enjoying a pint and spilling into the street after a day at the office.. That was my cue. Such a fun and typically downtown London experience. Not easy to get a pint with so many people here .. but such a great time.
A reminder of what makes a great pub: character, quality, and community.
The toasties are delicious and beer is great.
A tiny treasure, it’s a rare gem that captures the essence of a true London pub.
The most unwelcoming pub ever, easily the rudest staff in London, possibly the world. Disgraceful. Customer service is nonexistent. They made our whole tour group feel like we had done something wrong by walking through their door. Their are Plenty of other pubs in a 5 minute walking distance of this dump that treat their customers a million times better.
Great little one room village pub tucked in amongst the glass offices of Victoria. Shepherd Neame beer and others. Comfy indoor seating and outdoor tables when the weather's good. Top pub.
