About This Pub

So, let me tell you about Burnt Faith Brandy House – it's this lovely little bar in London that's become a bit of a favourite for anyone who loves a good cocktail. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the drinks are where they really shine; they're inventive, full of character, and made with quality brandy that leaves you wanting more. Pair that with some seriously tasty food options, and you've got a recipe for a great evening. The staff are an absolute delight too, always chatting away and making sure everything's just right, which adds to that warm, inviting atmosphere. But, to be fair, it's not all perfect – the food prices can sting a bit, feeling a tad over the top, and there have been times when service drags on because it seems understaffed, leading to longer waits that might frustrate you on a busy night. Overall, it's a solid choice if you're up for exploring new drinks and don't mind overlooking a few rough edges; just pop in with realistic expectations, and you're in for a treat.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The cocktails are absolutely delicious and inventive, with a great selection of brandy-based drinks that really hit the spot.
  • The staff are super friendly and attentive, always ready with recommendations and making you feel right at home.
  • The food is a real treat – things like the platter, pastrami croissant, and pork belly are packed with flavour and hit all the right notes.
  • The atmosphere and vibes are spot on for a relaxed night out, creating that perfect cosy pub feel.
  • They've got some brilliant deals, like cocktails for just £7 on Thursdays, which makes it an absolute bargain for a cheeky drink.
Cons
  • The prices for food can be a bit steep, often around 20% more than you'd expect, which might put a dent in your wallet.
  • Service can sometimes feel disorganised or slow, with waits for food stretching out, especially if they're a bit short on staff.
  • It might not be the most reliable for a quick visit, as things can get chaotic during busier times.

Great food, we got the platter, pastrami croissant and pork belly, all were really delicious. Drinks were good too! Had a few different cocktails which were all nice. Service and vibes were great, staff very attentive. My main issue was the price for the food, everything was around 20% more than I would have expected to pay considering the portions aren’t huge.

Amazing Cocktails & Exceptional Service! Burnt Faith Brandy House is an absolute gem! The cocktail menu is inventive and expertly crafted — each drink felt like a perfect blend of creativity and quality. Whether you’re a brandy lover or just someone who appreciates a well-made cocktail, this place delivers on all fronts. A special shoutout to Harry, the floor manager, who truly elevated our experience. He was warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about the space and the drinks. His knowledge, charm, and attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely enhances the atmosphere like he does. On top of that the best food from Black Cactus BBQ - we couldn’t ask for more!

Wow what a great find! I was worried that the cocktails would taste really strong being brandy based but they were DELICIOUS! Tried three but house punch and vieux carre were my fav. Also everything cocktail wise was only £7 because it was Thursday, an absolute steal! Very friendly staff - only v slight downside was the live music, which whilst sounding good, felt a bit unnecessary for the room (there was only about 10 people in the space, the music was pitched very loud especially with the bare walls). It was hard to hear my friend who was sitting opposite me. It might work better on a busier night but on Thursday would prefer just quiet background music. But the lovely cocktails and service made up for it!

Pretty perfect, really. Huge shout out to Max behind the bar whose cocktails were absolutely delicious. He’s incredibly dedicated to his profession and so knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic. The rest of the staff were excellent too and the bbq was unreal. A great evening.

We visited Burnt Faith last week and the experience wasn't the best. I'll start by saying the place seems very unorganized, they were under stuff, we've been waiting for an hour for our food, we set in front of the kitchen and saw how much time it took for the waiters to take the food after it was waiting for more than 5 min at the kitchen window. Regarding the food, VERY small and VERY expensive for what you get. Additionally there are things you can get only with the meat platter.. we asked for potato instead of fries.. the answer was No as it comes only with the platter. It was important to say that what we ate was tasty. But visiting a restaurant is not about the dish itself but the whole experience and our experience wasn't good TBH. Saying that, I think this place has a great potential and I'm sure they'll be better with time.
