About This Pub
Ah, the Bull & Bush – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot for a relaxed get-together. From the reviews, it's clear the staff are the heart of the place, always cheerful and attentive, whether you're grabbing a pint or tucking into some food. I love how they've nailed the beer selection, with that Guinness being a real highlight, and the grub sounds spot on too, with thoughtful touches like gluten-free options that cater to everyone. The beer garden is a proper winner, especially on a nice day, and it's refreshing to see a spot that's so family-friendly without losing that cosy pub charm. On the downside, the opening times look a bit all over the place, so you might end up double-checking to make sure you're not caught out. Plus, without a website, it's a tad tricky to plan ahead. All in all, it's a solid choice for a pint and a chat, and I'd say it's well worth popping in if you're nearby – just go with the flow and enjoy the good bits!

Great pint of Guinness and lovely staff
I went there after a funeral. Beer selection and service was exemplary. The buffet that was available to the funeral attendees was lovely. They even had a gluten free selection. A varied selection of areas to occupy including the most amazing beer garden and outside drinking area. They could say that this is a boozer for locals. No way. I would feel very much at home and welcome popping in there for a beautifully poured pint of real ale.
Was busy but not overcrowded so had a great atmosphere. The food was lovely and was nice to see a decent baby changing table. Appeared to be very child friendly out at the end of the garden but plenty of places to be somewhere a little less child swarmed deffo visit again.
Just went here for a bite to eat with the dog as there had been an accident on the motorway and I got stuck on this side of the M1. Lovely pub, old school type pub with locals and lovely atmosphere. Waiting bar staff were really friendly to me and the dog. Food was great and really reasonable. Would definitely recommend over chain pubs.
Ventured here as moved to the area last year, and was looking for a nice local pub.
I've definitely found it! The staff (and management) were great, as was the food!
Great atmosphere, with what appeared to be many repeat customers.
Very welcoming, and great for all ages. Thoroughly recommend, and will be back very soon!
