About This Pub
Ah, Bruford Arms – it's one of those hidden gems in Wolverhampton that really warms the cockles of your heart. From what I've gathered from folks who've been there, the food is an absolute standout; think hearty curries with a twist, like adding a fried egg if you're feeling adventurous, and mixed grills that are packed with flavour and generous helpings. It's all served up at prices that won't dent your wallet, which is always a win on a night out. The staff? Well, they're just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything's spot on. The pub itself has that classic old-school charm, with a welcoming atmosphere that's ideal for catching up with friends over a pint. On the flip side, it does seem to have some quirks – like not being open every day, so you might need to plan around that, and without a website, it's a bit of a faff to get the lowdown beforehand. Still, if you're after a proper, no-nonsense pub experience with top grub and genuine hospitality, I'd say give it a go; it's got that feel-good factor that keeps people coming back.

Cons
-
The operating hours seem a bit inconsistent or limited, with it closed on at least one day a week, so it's worth checking ahead to avoid disappointment.

-
Being an old-school spot, it might not suit everyone if you're after something more modern or fancy.

Food was amazing. Chef even put a fried egg on our curry as we asked for one 😀. Staff very friendly
Went for food on recommendation before a gig at the Civic. So glad we chose here, fabulous curries, and friendly staff. Will be going again. Beware of the speed humps on the way out though. 😁
Old school pub but does amazing food. Mixed grill was decent with good portions at a decent price. Would recommend.
Been there early this evening with a few friends that recommended this place to me and I have to say that I've had one of the best currys ever, not only were they're good portions but the people there were so friendly and welcoming.
Amazing food, lovely people, great atmosphere. Generous portions of good quality food. We will definitely be back...once we've finished the leftovers that were happily packed up for us to bring home 😉
