About This Pub
Ah, the Bradmore Arms – it's one of those reliable spots that just makes you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. I've got to say, what really stands out is how they nail the basics: the food is hearty and reasonably priced, with specials that let you feast without breaking the bank, and it's always served piping hot with generous portions that leave you satisfied. The team behind the bar and in the kitchen are top-notch too; they're genuinely warm and eager to help, whether it's recommending a dish or ensuring your table's sorted for the game. It's perfect for popping in with friends or family to catch live sport, and with extras like a car park and WiFi, it's easy to make a day of it near places like Bantock Park. On the flip side, it does get a bit heaving when there's a big match on, so you might find yourself jostling for space, and as part of a chain, it lacks that quirky, one-of-a-kind charm some pubs have. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for a relaxed get-together – I'd pop in without a second thought if you're in the area and fancy a no-fuss pint and a plate.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food here is spot on – affordable, tasty, and served quickly, with deals like tucking into a meal for just a tenner that make it a brilliant spot for a budget-friendly bite.
-
The staff are absolute gems; they're welcoming, attentive, and go the extra mile to make sure everything's just right, from sorting out orders to chatting about the latest offers.
-
It's a great place for catching the big games, with live sport on the telly and a lively atmosphere that gets everyone buzzing, especially during events like the Women's Euros.
-
Plenty of handy facilities like a car park, WiFi, and even outdoor play areas, making it family-friendly and convenient for a quick stop after a day out nearby.
Cons
-
It can get a tad busy during peak times or major matches, which might mean a wait for a table or a bit of a crowd if you're after a quiet pint.
-
As a chain pub, it might not have that unique, cosy local feel some folks crave, sticking more to standard fare rather than something truly distinctive.

A really good local to have a drink, they have the football on and the food is reasonably cheap priced! The staff are more than helpful, Jo is a really amazing member of the team. She goes out of her way to get to know customers and accommodate them! She told us about the latest offers on the app and helped us set it up! Thank you to all of the team at The Bradmore!
Went and had a lovely meal. Rhea was lovely very polite as well making sure my order was right. Overall a good place to have a meal and grab a drink with friends/family.
Had lovely meal today. Took advantage of the offers available. Food was served quick and hot and tasted lovely. Service was excellent thank you to Mo he was a great help and has the patience of a saint! We would recommend this pub and would go here again.
We visited yesterday as a party of 12 and both the service and food were brilliant. Ian and Vicky were so welcoming and couldn't do enough to help us from the moment arrived until we left. Even with a large party with food under separate orders, all of the food came out together. Portions are huge and very reasonably priced. Nice kids play area to the rear of the pub to keep the little ones entertained. Would definitely recommend.
