About This Pub

Ah, BrewDog Liverpool – what a cracking little find in the heart of the Ropewalks! I have to say, it's one of those places that really pulls you in with its incredible selection of craft beers; whether you're into bold IPAs or smooth stouts, there's always something fresh on tap to keep things exciting. The food doesn't disappoint either – those burgers and wings are absolute winners, and it's nice to see they've thought about everyone with options for kids and even a weekend brunch that hits the spot. The staff are just lovely, full of chat and expertise, which makes the whole experience feel personal and fun, like you're catching up with pals over a pint. It's perfectly placed near the Albert Dock, so you can easily pop in after a wander around. On the downside, it can get a bit pricey, and if you're more of a fan of classic pub grub and ales, this one's more geared towards the craft crowd, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. Still, for a solid night out or trying something new, it's well worth a visit – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in Liverpool!

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The beer selection is absolutely brilliant, with a massive range of craft brews from IPAs to stouts on 28 taps – it's a proper haven for anyone who loves exploring new flavours.
  • The food menu is spot on, offering epic burgers, wings, salads, and even a cracking brunch on weekends, plus they've got options for kids so it's family-friendly without skimping on quality.
  • The service is warm and engaging, like having a chat with a knowledgeable mate behind the bar – shout out to staff like Sam who go above and beyond to make your visit memorable.
  • It's in a prime spot in Liverpool's historic Ropewalks District, just a short stroll from the Albert Dock, making it ideal for a relaxed afternoon or evening out.
  • They've got fun experiences like the Beer School, which is perfect for diving into the world of brewing and trying new things in a welcoming atmosphere.
Cons
  • Prices are on the moderate side, so it might feel a bit steep if you're just after a quick pint and not in the mood for the full craft beer experience.
  • The vibe is very modern and focused on craft brews, which could leave traditional ale lovers wanting something a tad more old-school.
  • Opening hours seem to vary a bit, especially on Sundays, so it's worth double-checking to avoid any surprises if you're planning a late visit.

Had such a great afternoon in Brewdog Liverpool today. Came in to use a burger and beer flight voucher for my husband’s birthday but stayed longer because we were having such a lovely afternoon. The beer and the food were delicious and the service from Sam, the barman, was second to none. From serving the food to informing us about the different beers, he was warm, friendly and helpful and really helped to make a special afternoon even better. Would definitely recommend popping in for a visit. Warning - you may just spend the whole day here. 😊🥰

A wonderful pub to hang out and chill with a beer and some food. The beer is world famous and you get a lot more options here than in other places. Food is great and staff are friendly and helpful.

Had the best time ever. I have been meaning to try this place for a while but I saw their facebook posts about events and took the wife and we have a great time. We got served in a great manner and spoke to a lovely gentleman called Sam who went above and beyond and you could see how passionate he was about each customer he served as we required a little more help due to my wife’s disability and he accommodated us amazingly. 5* for their events and 5* to the team/ staff
