About This Pub
Ah, Biddy Mulligan's – what a delightful little Irish pub it is, tucked away near Olympia in London. I have to say, stepping inside feels like a proper escape; the cosy decor with dark woods and vintage photos gives it that authentic, homely charm that just draws you in for a chat and a drink. The drinks menu is a real highlight – whether you're after a classic Guinness, a smooth whiskey, or something more adventurous like a craft beer or cocktail, they've got it all, and the staff are so approachable, always up for a recommendation or a quick natter. From what I've heard and seen, the food's a winner too, especially the BBQ options in the evenings, and it's handy that you can pop in with some take-away if you're just there for a pint. It's got that community spirit going on, with friendly locals and even events like Bingo Thursdays to keep things interesting. But, to be fair, it's not all perfect – there have been a few grumbles about table arrangements, like during big matches when they might shuffle you along without much warning, which could put a dampener on your afternoon. Still, overall, it's a solid choice for a relaxed catch-up with mates; just pop in knowing it's more about that easy-going vibe than non-stop excitement, and you'll likely have a grand time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The atmosphere is absolutely charming and cosy, with traditional Irish decor that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in.
-
They've got a brilliant selection of drinks, from a perfect pint of Guinness to craft beers and cocktails, with the staff always on hand to suggest something new.
-
The friendly owners and team really add to the welcoming vibe, making it feel like a proper community spot where everyone gets along.
-
Food options are spot on, especially the BBQ dishes after 5 PM, and it's great that you can bring in take-away if you're just there for drinks.
-
Its location near Olympia is ideal for a quick stop after an event or exhibition – perfect for unwinding with a beer.
Cons
-
There can be occasional hiccups with table management, like being asked to move without much notice, which might spoil the mood during busy times.
-
It might feel a bit quiet at off-peak hours, so if you're after a buzzing, lively crowd, it could disappoint on those days.
-
Service is generally good, but as with any spot, there are times when things aren't as smooth, particularly around events like sports finals.

BBQ food after 17:00, happy for you to consume take away food if drinking there at other times, a good location to grab a beer if visiting Olympia for a trade fair.
What a great place!! The food was incredible, fresh and delicious, cooked by the most talented chef. The owners are some of the best people we've ever met. Couldn't be nicer. Fellow new jersians. We will be back for sure one day.
For 10 years everytime I come to London this is my local pub.
Damien and Miriam are 2 amazing people.
They have shown me so much love and respect that if I could rate this pub higher I absolutely would.
The locals are so friendly towards me and being Scottish they have shown me nothing but love. I've met so many new friends that it's made every trip worth it. And no matter what I always get a free drink.
And the bar staff are such amazing people too. For me the best pub in this side of London.
Thank you guys and look forward to seeing you again in the summer.
Love Mikey and Annette
The Keep of Brook Green is a community pub with a Celtic vibe and a musical bent, judging by the two pianos in the bar. Elton, get down here and bash out a few tunes! Fast friendly service at a quiet time. A QPR pub by the look of it, I suspect this is a lovely fun place when it's buzzing. A great (cold) pint of lager, much appreciated. Unfortunately, nothing visible on cask for the real ale drinkers. Much enjoyed visit.
Food was okay and service was fine up until the point at which they wanted to remove us from the table we had been sitting at all afternoon in the lead up to the Euro finals. No one told us we'd have to give up the table at a certain time and there was no reserved sign.
We also called earlier in the week and were told no reservations, first in best dressed so we came at 3pm, only to be kicked off the table in favour of friends and they didn't even care to offer us another table.
No sense of safety precautions either, despite legislation still in place.
Such a poor reflection of the terrible management. Lost customers who would have become local patrons, will never come back.
