About This Pub

You know, when I think about Bicester Brewers Fayre, it's got that comforting pub vibe that makes you feel right at home – think delicious grub like their breakfast spread or the classic Sunday carvery, where everything's cooked fresh and served with a smile. The team there really shines, always chipping in to sort out any little issues and making sure everyone's happy. Plus, with those wallet-friendly deals, it's an easy choice for a relaxed catch-up or family outing. On the downside, it can feel a bit overwhelming when it's packed, like navigating the carvery queue without much guidance, and the veg options don't always wow you with variety. All in all, it's a solid pick if you're after good honest food and a bit of cheer, but maybe plan ahead for the busier days to keep things smooth sailing.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food is absolutely spot on, especially the breakfast buffet and Sunday carvery – fresh, hearty, and full of flavour.
  • Staff are brilliant, always friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable.
  • It's great value for money, with deals like mains from just £5 and family-friendly options that won't break the bank.
  • The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends, and it's conveniently located near the Premier Inn.
Cons
  • The carvery system can be a bit confusing at first, with queues and processes that aren't always clearly explained.
  • The selection of vegetables is a tad limited, which might leave you wanting more variety on your plate.
  • It gets really busy at times, so you might end up waiting or need to book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Regularly go for the breakfast buffet on a Saturday morning & the carvery served on Sundays. Food is beautifully fresh, nothing is too much trouble. Went for the carvery today, place was super busy, but a lovely atmosphere. As it’s a carvery, you can pop up and choose from turkey, beef or gammon, then a nice selection of vegetables as well as home made roasted potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. I highly recommend the cauliflower cheese, it’s delicious. If we’ve ever had a problem, it’s been rectified quickly and professionally. Highly recommend.

We have just moved to the area and are waiting for our cooker to be fitted, therefore we needed a good value for money restaurant nearby. Luckily we came across here. We have been 5 times this past week including a carvery, the food was lovely everytime and the service brilliant. Ryan went above and beyond for us every visit. Would 100% recommend.

We visited for the Sunday carvery at around midday. Booked in by friendly staff, shown to our seat. Nothing was explained how their carvery system worked so we were sent from the carvery line over to tills where there was a long queue. Meat was lovely, not a huge choice of veg but all well cooked. Free parking for 3 hours - book in on tablet at front door. Toilets upstairs. Overall, nice, clean place for a standard carvery at a good price.

We had a fantastic time at this restaurant's breakfast buffet with our family. The variety of dishes and drinks was everything on an English Breakfast menu and everyone found something they loved. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent value. The staff are friendly and helpful. There’s also parking space for up to 2 hours! We'll definitely be back! 😊

We ate here the two nights we stayed over the road at the Premier Inn. The food was as good as a Brewers Fayre gets, and I've eaten in a lot on my travels. My rump steak on the second night was trimmed to perfection, cooked as I wanted, and please tell the chef the best steak from a Brewers Fayre in the country. Great staff with a bit of crack and banter. Super helpful as I had a 40% off voucher, so they explained all that. A nice location brand new and shops in walking distance close by.
