About This Pub
Ah, Baker Street in Gloucester – what a gem for a casual get-together! I've got to say, it's one of those places that really nails the atmosphere with its top-notch live music and sports on the screens; you can feel the energy buzzing, especially during a big game or gig. The drinks are a highlight too – grabbing a pint for just £3 feels like a real treat these days, and it's all about that great value without skimping on quality. Plus, the staff are just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame they don't have a kitchen, so if you're peckish, you'll need to bring your own food or pop out, which isn't ideal for a seamless evening. And with the hours looking a bit muddled, it's smart to double-check before you head over. All in all, though, it's a solid choice if you're after a relaxed spot to unwind, with plenty of entertainment to keep things entertaining – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for a balanced night out.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The live music and sports screenings are absolutely brilliant – it's a proper lively spot that gets everyone in the mood for a good time.
-
Drinks are reasonably priced, like a pint of Carling for just £3, which makes it easy on the wallet for a night out with mates.
-
The staff are really friendly and welcoming, adding to that cosy, community feel that makes you want to come back.
-
They've got a karaoke lounge you can hire for a bit of fun, perfect for letting loose and having a laugh with your group.
-
It's flexible with food – you can bring your own since there's no kitchen, which is quite handy if you're after something specific.
Cons
-
There's no on-site kitchen, so you'll have to sort out your own grub, which might put a dampener on things if you're hoping for a full meal.
-
The operating hours listed seem a tad confusing with multiple entries, so it's worth checking in advance to avoid any disappointment.
-
As the business isn't claimed, it might not feel as well-managed or up-to-date as some other pubs, which could show in the little details.

Great night out. Good music!
Good old fashioned pub and reasonably priced pints
They had F1 on the big screen, which is honestly all I was asking for on this day. Good selection of drinks. They don't have kitchen, but we could bring food from outside. Not bad
Great place. Good entertainment. Saw a band MzLeading. Was fantastic atmosphere. Good night all round
Just had a few drinks here on a couple of evenings and watched the football. Nice spot, good service and friendly staff with well priced drinks.
