About This Pub

Ah, Baker Street in Gloucester – what a gem for a casual get-together! I've got to say, it's one of those places that really nails the atmosphere with its top-notch live music and sports on the screens; you can feel the energy buzzing, especially during a big game or gig. The drinks are a highlight too – grabbing a pint for just £3 feels like a real treat these days, and it's all about that great value without skimping on quality. Plus, the staff are just lovely, always up for a chat and making sure everything runs smoothly. On the flip side, it's a bit of a shame they don't have a kitchen, so if you're peckish, you'll need to bring your own food or pop out, which isn't ideal for a seamless evening. And with the hours looking a bit muddled, it's smart to double-check before you head over. All in all, though, it's a solid choice if you're after a relaxed spot to unwind, with plenty of entertainment to keep things entertaining – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for a balanced night out.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The live music and sports screenings are absolutely brilliant – it's a proper lively spot that gets everyone in the mood for a good time.
  • Drinks are reasonably priced, like a pint of Carling for just £3, which makes it easy on the wallet for a night out with mates.
  • The staff are really friendly and welcoming, adding to that cosy, community feel that makes you want to come back.
  • They've got a karaoke lounge you can hire for a bit of fun, perfect for letting loose and having a laugh with your group.
  • It's flexible with food – you can bring your own since there's no kitchen, which is quite handy if you're after something specific.
Cons
  • There's no on-site kitchen, so you'll have to sort out your own grub, which might put a dampener on things if you're hoping for a full meal.
  • The operating hours listed seem a tad confusing with multiple entries, so it's worth checking in advance to avoid any disappointment.
  • As the business isn't claimed, it might not feel as well-managed or up-to-date as some other pubs, which could show in the little details.

They had F1 on the big screen, which is honestly all I was asking for on this day. Good selection of drinks. They don't have kitchen, but we could bring food from outside. Not bad
