Pub has changed hands recently so gave it a go for lunch. Very pleasantly surprised. Much improved food and nice service. They also now take blue light / armed forces. Will be back.
I just love the atmosphere here! I don't go out much but when I visit the Avenue I always have a great time and come home feeling uplifted. The proprietors and staff are all lovely. You know when you go on holiday, everyone talks to each other? Well it is like that here with the customers. They put on some great entertainment and the food is amazing. If you haven't get been get yourself over. You won't regret it!
Booked here for lunch with family. Not been here for a long time. Been nicely decorated. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Nice beer garden. Plenty of parking. Lounge and bar area. And shows sports. Clean and tidy and toilets are the same and easily accessible. Situated just short drive or walk from town centre heading outwards Quedgeley. Car park is easily accessible also. This is on the corner of Bristol Road and Tuffley Lane. Menu has various options. And different meals that are available Monday to Saturday. Meals were good and all had different options. Portions are of good size. This place is reasonably priced. Have different things available in the week like Bingo. And there is a clairvoyant on Wednesdays but best ring place to find out more. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would recommend and will go again..
Stopped by with friends for lunch after a morning walk. Atmosphere was cosy and food was great, we were even able to bring the dogs in too. Will definitely be back again when next in the area.
We hired a hall at the avenue it’s under new ownership and the communication was brilliant from the first time I messaged. They were so accommodating and absolutely lovely, I will definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for one! Service was also great at the bar! Thank you so much x
