About This Pub
You know, when I think about Willow Farm Table Table, it really stands out as one of those reliable spots in Rainham that just hits the mark for a laid-back meal with mates or family. The food is a proper treat – think mouth-watering options like their new lunch dishes starting from just a fiver, with vegan choices that surprised me in the best way, and those generous portions that leave you feeling satisfied without overdoing it. The team there are genuinely warm and efficient, always ready with a friendly chat, which makes it perfect for celebrating a birthday or just nipping in for a coffee. On the flip side, being part of a chain means it lacks a bit of that personal, homely charm you might find in an independent pub, and with varying closing times and early last orders, it's not the place for a lingering evening. Still, for what it is, it's a solid choice if you're after good value and a hassle-free experience – I'd say give it a go if you're in Essex, but maybe plan ahead to make the most of it.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The food is absolutely brilliant, with a fantastic variety including vegan options, generous portions, and tasty new lunch dishes that won't break the bank.
-
The service is spot-on – friendly staff who make you feel right at home, especially for family outings or special occasions like birthdays.
-
They've got a cracking all-you-can-eat breakfast and outdoor dining options, making it a lovely spot for a relaxed meal in Rainham.
Cons
-
As a chain restaurant, it might not have that unique, cosy local vibe you're after if you're seeking something more bespoke.
-
Opening hours can vary, and with last orders fairly early, it might not suit late-night plans or spontaneous visits.
-
It can get quite busy at peak times, so you might need to book ahead to avoid any disappointment.

Willow Farm Table in Rainham is a hidden gem that's perfect for a relaxing meal or coffee break. As a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection of plant-based options on the menu – there’s definitely something for everyone here. The desserts are a highlight: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Their coffee and tea selection is also excellent, with quality brews served just right.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfy seating that makes it easy to linger a little longer. There’s plenty of parking available, so it’s convenient even on busy days. On sunny days, the outdoor seating area is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the weather.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food, great service, and a cozy environment.
Nice meal out with the family.....
We came down for our girlfriends aunts birthday, which was at a different venue, however on our second night we had food here which was fantastic, came out quick and pipping hot! Before leaving we had breakfast which again was cooked to order (which I prefer) all the team that we spoke to was awesome, chatty and smiley! We will definitely be seeing you all again soon when we next come down.
Highly recommend, 5 star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I visited this restaurant with some friends to celebrate a birthday and I was very impressed indeed. The food was really delicious. I had the mixed grill which proved to be a wise choice. The portion was generous so I was glad that I hadn't upgraded to a larger steak as it would have been a struggle to eat it!
Anne, our waitress was really lovely. Not only was she pleasant and helpful, she was really good at her job and everything went like clockwork. I will certainly visit this venue again. I can only agree with the dozens of other positive reviews that have been posted. Highly recommended!! Thank you everyone.
Willow Farm Table Table is a good restaurant with amazing food options. This was our first visit. We had ordered Sharing platter for starters, for mains - Chicken Katsu curry and Smothered Chicken, for dessert - Banoffee Cheese cake, sticky toffee pudding and sundae.
We came to this place for my birthday and we had a very nice time. The service was excellent, and nothing went wrong with our orders. The food tasted incredible, the desserts were great too, and the kitchen decided to surprise us with a birthday treat after we finished. Everything today was perfect and I have the wonderful team to thank for that.
