About This Pub
You know, when I think about the William IV Inn, it's got that proper cosy pub atmosphere mixed with a welcoming B&B feel, right in the heart of Norwich. The staff really stand out – they're so approachable and make you feel at ease from the moment you walk in, like you're chatting with friends over a pint. The breakfast is something special too; it's hearty and full of options, setting you up nicely for exploring the nearby sights. The rooms are tidy and just the right size for a relaxing stay, and it's fantastic value, especially if you're after a budget-friendly option. Plus, if you're organising an event like a birthday or even something more poignant, the function room is a gem, with helpful touches that make it all run smoothly. It's ideally placed for nipping out to see the cathedral or strolling those cobbled lanes, adding to the whole experience. On the downside, I did notice a mention of someone not getting their lost items back quickly, which is a bit of a shame and worth being cautious about. Also, not having clear opening times could throw a spanner in the works if you're trying to coordinate a visit. All in all, it's a solid choice with plenty of positives, but like any spot, it's good to go in with your eyes open for a balanced outing.

Stayed for a couple of nights. Lovely and friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing.
Stayed one night for business purposes. Forgot my expensive travel adapter and phone charger in the room but realized only 10 days after, when was packing my stuff for next trip. During these days nothing was received from the hotel, and when I called them, they told me that nothing in the room was found when I left, which is not true. Very disappointed..
Booked the function room for a milestone birthday. Price was great for hire and included DJ, who was great at playing requests. Clean facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend to others and will definitely book again for future events
They were so lovely in hosting my grandfathers wake for us. We didn't know how many we would have. But we filled one half and had seating and room for everyone. Tea and coffee was flowing and drinks seemed very reasonable. I'm sad our event was for a bad reason but maybe you might have a better one.
Clean, comfortable, large room - this was a double but we've had smaller family rooms sometimes in other B&Bs, large ensuite, good shower. Very welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast, plenty of choice. Excellent value.
