About This Pub

Ah, The Jubilee – what a gem of a pub in Norwich! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, this place really knows how to make you feel at home with its welcoming atmosphere and a cracking range of beers that'll please any fan of a good pint. I love how it's kept that classic traditional feel, with quirky customers and some fascinating photos on the walls that give it real character. Plus, the option to bring your own grub, especially with that excellent fish and chip shop nearby, makes it even more appealing for a laid-back night out. And let's not forget the landlord's adorable dog that wanders around – it's those little touches that make a visit memorable. On the flip side, it's a bit tucked away, so if you're not in the area, you might find it a hassle to get to, and without a website, it's not the easiest to plan ahead. Still, with such high praise from those who've been, I'd say it's well worth a try for a proper pub experience – just pop in and see for yourself!

  • It's got that warm, welcoming traditional pub feel that's perfect for a relaxing catch-up with mates.
  • The quirky customers and interesting photos on the walls add a fun, unique charm to the place.
  • You can bring your own food, and there's a brilliant fish and chip shop just across the road – makes for a top-notch evening.
  • The landlord's lovely little dog often pops by, which adds a heart-warming touch to your visit.
Cons
  • It's a bit out of the way if you're not local, so you might need to plan your trip.
  • No website or online presence means it's tricky to check opening times or get more info before heading over.
  • The operating hours seem a tad confusing from what I've seen, which could catch you out if you're not careful.

Didn't eat there as it was Xmas day. Great selection of beer. Trendy pub with quirky customers. Just my kind of pub. Would love to visit again on a 'normal' day.

We came here as part of the 2017 City of Ale trail and I considered it to be the best pub. We returned yesterday, seven years later and loved the place. This time we were visited by the Landlord's lovely little dog.
