Visited today for Sunday Lunch. We hadn't booked and it was really busy so we sat at the bar till a table became available. We both had the turkey and couldnt fault it one bit. Great food at a great price. Will definitely visit again if we are in the area
What a fabulous find!
We've been coming to Otley for years but never been in the Whitakers Arms, however hasld walked past today and saw a sign out the front advertising breakfast, so I thought I'd try it as my two year old wanted food!
Well, I'm kicking myself I'd not been before - fabulous welcome, such a nice guy behind the bar and the children's menu was extensive and a great selection.
My daughter loved her cheese on toast and sausage on the side, fabulous quality I must say!
Great beer choices with tea and coffee too and amazing looking cakes and scones to choose from as well!
Best until last.....maybe! Take a look at their secret beer garden, what an amazing surprise and such a sun trap! A good size with lots of new seating, soft cushions and bean bags too!
Honestly, such a great find! So good in fact, we are coming back later with my other daughter and Mrs too!
Definitely put it on your list when you are next in Otley, you won't be disappointed at all.

Lovely , clean and comfortable beer garden . The food was really tasty and service was exceptional.

Friendly and the beer will kept. I always like Taylors and this was that really clean, fresh flavour when the pub takes that bit of extra care.
We were watching the rugby but a mixed crowd and a convivial but not too noisy atmosphere.
Only had samosas as bar snacks, but they were nice.
Nice old school feel pub with some nice ales and seems to be popular with regulars who know each other and the bar staff.
Got booked in for Sunday lunch and it was really good. Got a large meal with mixed meats and all were tasty as were the Yorkshire and roasts.
