About This Pub
Ah, the Weavers Arms, it's one of those classic London pubs that really hits the spot for a good old catch-up with friends. I have to say, the staff are absolute gems; they're so welcoming and make you feel like a regular from the get-go, which is just lovely for a quick pint or a longer session. The drinks selection is spot on too, with that standout Guinness that's as good as any I've tried, and the prices won't leave you out of pocket. Plus, with live sport on the screens, a pool table to liven things up, and a beer garden for when the sun's out, it's got all the makings of a proper good time. But, and I say this with a bit of caution, it's not without its downsides – there have been tales of fights and a bit of rowdiness that can spoil the fun, possibly linked to the crowd or even the management letting things slide. Still, if you're up for a bit of authentic pub banter and can handle the occasional bustle, it's well worth a visit for that genuine local feel. All in all, it's a solid choice for us pub enthusiasts, as long as you go in with your eyes open to both the highs and the lows.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home, like you're part of the neighbourhood crowd.
-
They've got a fantastic selection of drinks, including a cracking pint of Guinness that's hard to beat in London.
-
Prices are really reasonable, so you can enjoy a few rounds without worrying about the wallet.
-
It's got a lively atmosphere with live sport on HD screens, a pool table for some fun, and even a beer garden for sunny days.
-
As a traditional pub, it offers that authentic, cosy vibe that's perfect for relaxing with mates over a pint.
Cons
-
There can be some antisocial behaviour now and then, like fights breaking out, which puts a damper on things.
-
It might get a bit rowdy at times, so it's not always the best spot if you're after a peaceful, quiet evening.
-
From what folks have said, the management could do more to keep the troublemakers at bay, which is a shame for such a great local spot.

Lovely service I was visiting due to a funeral, but was treated like a local, good variety of drinks friendly atmosphere. I never ate.
Lovely local pub. Had particularly great and friendly service from bartenders Jordan and Dylan who made our trip here shine.
Unfortunately you cannot enjoy this pub! It has become the most antisocial pub in the neighborhood! There is always a fight every other weekend! I ve come to the conclusion that it must be the manager who brings these troublemakers. It makes no sense, there are three pubs on the same road but it's only this one that has the fights, the screaming and shouting etc! No wonder why most families have put their houses on sale and have left within the last 3 years! The council is a complete disgrace!
Reply: You know it's true, you have no clue that your drunk customers come outside our windows to argue while you re having fun inside! You have no idea what it is to wake up every Friday and Saturday night because someone outside is shouting and swearing or crying and screaming! Did you see the people watching from the windows last night! You know it's true, and I am glad your answer is visible for others to see !It's your responsibility to come outside especially late at night, to check on your customers and tell them to stay within the pub grounds or to check if there is any trouble going on or that they re leaving as civilised as possible. You re the dishonest one here!
This is a proper boozer. One of the few remaining in London. Tracey and Adam behind the bar will make you feel welcome and the prices are amazingly low! Pool table, music, live sport. What more could you want!?! Fully recommend the Guinness too, which is even rarer!
Great local(a proper one). Using it for years. good beer. The Guv's Irish so you'll be hard pushed to get a better pint of Guiness. Lovely staff and great crowd who use it. Proper proper local
