About This Pub

Ah, Wards Freehouse – it's one of those pubs that just hits the spot when you're after a relaxed evening out. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the place has this brilliant old-school charm that makes you feel like you're stepping into a proper traditional spot, far from the hustle of tourist traps. The Guinness is reportedly the best in the area, and it's all served up with a smile from the landlady, who's known for being exceptionally welcoming and creating a real sense of community. Plus, it's brilliant value for money, and if you're into sports, it's a top choice for catching the game in a lively setting. The artwork on the walls adds a nice creative flair that might even inspire you to learn more. On the downside, though, there's no food available, which could be a bit of a letdown if you're hoping for pub grub with your pint. It also seems geared more towards the regulars, so if you're new to the area or just passing through, it might take a moment to feel fully included. All in all, it's a solid spot for a genuine pub experience – I'd say give it a go if you're in Harrow and fancy a pint without the fuss.

There isn't food here but just a lot of old school charm. Not for tourists. A regulars space but warm. Great if you want to be free of The Oak and it's compromised pricing and poor menu. The art work on offer here is really cool. Left feeling inspired to look it up.

Best Pub in Harrow, good honest Irish pub. It's run/owned by Lisa the best Landlady in the business. If you need a proper Guinness just go there and you will not be sorry.
