About This Pub
Ah, the Waggon & Horses, what a gem in Cradley Heath! I've got to say, it's one of those places that really hits the mark for a good old pub experience. The live music on Saturdays is just brilliant, getting everyone in the mood for a singalong or a dance, and paired with the friendly team behind the bar, it feels like you're catching up with mates rather than just popping in for a drink. The food's another highlight – those pizzas and Italian dishes are spot on, especially with the cheeky 50% off on Mondays, and it's all at prices that won't break the bank. Plus, the beer garden is a proper treat, with heaters to keep you snug even on chillier evenings, and it's family-oriented too, which is great if you're out with the little ones. On the flip side, it does get packed during the big events, so if you're after a peaceful evening, you might find it a tad hectic. And that roadside spot means you could hear a bit of traffic hum, which isn't ideal, but it doesn't spoil the fun. All in all, it's a solid choice for anyone looking for a mix of entertainment, good value, and a warm welcome – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for a balanced night out.
Pros and Cons

-
Friendly staff who make you feel right at home – they're always up for a chat and ensure everyone has a great time.
-

-
A fantastic beer garden that's equipped with heaters, so you can enjoy it all year round, plus an outdoor bar for those sunny days.
-
It's family-friendly with a play area for kids, ideal for a relaxed day out, and they show all the big sports events on Sky and BT.
-
Reasonable prices on drinks and food, like wine by the bottle for under £12, which keeps things affordable without skimping on quality.
Cons
-
It can get quite busy during live music or sports events, which might make it a bit overwhelming if you're after a quiet pint.
-
Being on a roadside location, there might be some traffic noise that disrupts the otherwise great atmosphere.
-
The website feels a tad outdated and basic, so it doesn't give you much detail before you visit, which could be a minor letdown.

My first time in this pub i was very impressed the atmosphere was amazing. The staff were very friendly. And they had a fantastic band on. I will most definitely pop in again.
The atmosphere is great , it located on the road side, the people behind the bar are so friendly and prices are reasonable. I went to see a band thete and I had a fantastic time, if you want a good night out with friends, this is the place to be .
If you want a cheap, musically entertained Saturday evening... this is the place to be. I was buying wine by the 70cl bottle at just under £12. Bargain!!!!! They are a friendly bunch of staff who like to see you enjoy your evening with them.
