About This Pub
Ah, Vino Vino – it's one of those places in Bath that just feels like a hidden gem, doesn't it? From the moment you step in, you're greeted with this lovely, relaxed energy that's perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The wine list is a real highlight; it's carefully put together with options for everyone, and that clever preservation system means you get top-quality glasses without any fuss. Pair that with their creative cocktails and those mouthwatering sharing boards – think fresh cheeses and charcuterie from local producers – and you've got a recipe for a fantastic night in. The service is another winner; the staff are so approachable and make you feel like you're part of the gang, which really adds to the charm. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses – that dress code can feel a bit strict if you're just popping in for a casual pint, and I did hear a mate mention they added ice to their drink without checking, which threw off the experience a touch. Still, with such a solid reputation and glowing feedback from folks who've had a brilliant time, I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're after something a bit more refined, just maybe plan ahead for those little quirks.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The wine selection is absolutely spot on, with a fantastic range by the glass that caters to all tastes and won't break the bank.
-
The atmosphere is so welcoming and cosy, making it a brilliant spot for catching up with mates over a relaxed evening.
-
Service is warm and attentive – the team really goes the extra mile to make you feel special, just like chatting with old friends.
-
Food options are a treat, with delicious sharing plates like artisan cheeses and charcuterie that are perfect for grazing.
-
Outdoor seating with heaters adds a lovely touch, especially on cooler nights, and it's great for enjoying a drink al fresco.
Cons
-
They might add ice to drinks without asking, which can be a bit of a letdown if you're after it straight up.
-
The smart-casual dress code and no stag or hen party rule could put off some groups looking for a more laid-back or lively night.
-
It's very wine-focused, so if you're not a big wine fan, the options might feel a tad limited compared to a full-on pub.

Top tier chilling experience🦦🦦👍
This place makes you feel like an old Bath king🛁👑
Generous portions, selection for table standard.
Hands down our favourite spot in Bath! The wine selection is always perfect, and we love the cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The team here is amazing, and Rosie always makes us feel so special with her warm, friendly service. We also get a kick out of the playful banter—especially when I inevitably leave my bag behind (again)! It’s the little things that make this place so special, and we always feel right at home. If you’re in Bath, this place is an absolute must! Cheers to many more wonderful nights here!
I recommend it at any price because it has the most delicious ribs with barbecue sauce, Caesar salad and potatoes! It was very nice, we only had one small disappointment, because they put ice in the natural juice and the carbonated drink, without asking us in advance when taking our order, if we want ice! Juice in Bulgaria is served without ice, if the customer wishes, they put the ice in a separate glass, especially since it's March, and it's cold for us! People are obviously used to it, but it's not right with the ice! Not everyone likes putting ice in their juice or soda in advance! Juice when served with ice, your glass is less than half the juice, so always ask for the ice separately in a glass if you drink with ice! The tip is on your account, it's useful for anyone who is a first time customer like us Bath customers to know! The service is at the level of 5 stars we give! Thank you 🙏🍹👍👏🌹❤️🇧🇬🇬🇧
The best steak sandwich i have had! Was looking for a late night meal and came across vino vino. Has outdoor seating with heaters. Waiter was very welcoming and polite and quick service. Great drinks too !
Lovely music, outside seating adds to the charm. Attentive service and the Classic Margarita I ordered was on the dot.
The olives that I ordered to go with the drink was absolutely fresh and I enjoyed it.
